With Marc Bulger out of a starting quarterback job, Trent Green is the new man in charge. He has talent on his offensive unit so he may be able to shine.
RB Michael Pittman, Denver Broncos
For the third straight week Michael Pittman scored a touchdown. While the Broncos are using a three-headed monster at running back, Pittman is arguably the most valuable due to his goal line carries.

TE Donald Lee, Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers seems to be getting more comfortable with using his tight end, which is good news for Donald Lee. He’s not a spectacular starter at this point but he should be solid.

Brandon Lloyd is an example of an immensely talented player who has yet to figure it all out. In terms of making acrobatic catches, there are few wide receivers in Lloyd’s league. However, Lloyd struggles with routine plays and his work ethic has oftentimes been questioned.

The Chicago Bears recently signed Lloyd after losing both Muhsin Muhammad and Bernard Berian to free agency. Lloyd, along with Marty Booker, will be asked to pick up the slack at wide receiver. The Bears are taking a bit of a gamble with Lloyd because he’s been more of a tease than a productive football player so far in his career.

If Lloyd grows up mentally and puts in the work, Lloyd could be a free agent steal. If he doesn’t, there’s a good chance that he’ll be buried on the depth charts – even if wide receiver is currently a weakness for the Bears.

Lloyd won’t be more than a late round flyer in fantasy football in 2008. Chances are he’ll total about 600 yards and pull down around two or three touchdowns. His ceiling is much higher, which may tempt some fantasy football owners.
