After attempting only four passes, Brodie Croyle suffered what the team is calling head trauma and was unable to return to the game. Third string quarterback Tyler Thigpen was given the reins.

While running a route, Justin Fargas fell to the field with what appeared to be a groin injury. Fargas was unable to return to the game and appeared to be in serious pain.

It’s been that type of year for Croyle who entered the season with high expectations but has basically fallen on his face. Truth be told, Croyle hasn’t been very good this season. He lost the starting job in preseason and when he’s gotten a chance to play during the season, he hasn’t done anything of note. That said, the Chiefs are playing against the struggling Detroit Lions this week. If Croyle is ever going to play well, now could be the time. If you are desperate QB, pick him up.
