WR Logan Payne and Seneca Wallace, Seattle Seahawks
The amazing run of bad luck for the Seahawks continues with two more injuries in the wide receiver corps. With Deion Branch, Bobby Engram, Nate Burleson and Ben Obomanu already injured, Seattle receivers Logan Payne and Seneca Wallace both got injured on Sunday.

WR Devin Hester, Chicago Bears
Wide receiver and return specialist Devin Hester had to leave the Week 2 contest with a rib injury. He got hurt during a kickoff return in the third quarter.

WR Sidney Rice, Minnesota Vikings
Last week Sidney Rice got a touchdown. This week, the Minnesota wide receiver was forced to leave the game with a knee injury.

QB Brodie Croyle, Kansas City Chiefs
Croyle hurt his hand after throwing an interception and trying to make a tackle. It’s been that type of year for Croyle who entered the season with high expectations but has basically fallen on his face. There’s still a chance he’ll play in Week 17 but even if he does you don’t want any part of Croyle on your fantasy football team.

RB Kevin Jones, Detroit Lions
Jones has looked good this season whenever the Lions have decided to run the ball. But he suffered yet another devastating injury when he tore his ACL in Week 16. For a guy who was looking so good lately, this is a serious blow. There’s a chance that he won’t be ready to start next year and will instead be sidelined to begin the season – just as he was this year.

WR Terrell Owens, Dallas Cowboys
Owens suffered a high ankle sprain that could seriously dampen the Cowboys championship hopes. Owens won’t play in Week 17 and there’s a chance he won’t be ready for the Cowboys’ first playoff game. If that’s the case, the Cowboys’ high octane offense could be derailed with just one twist of an ankle. The good news is that Owens has a history of recovering quickly, which might allow him to be 100% by the time the playoffs roll around for Dallas.

TE Quinn Sypniewski, Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens have had horrible luck regarding their tight ends this year. Todd Heap and Daniel Wilcox have struggled with injuries all year. Sypniewski has been decent when given playing time but now even he’s hurt. He suffered multiple injuries in Week 16 that should keep him out of action in Week 17. If he’s out, there’s no telling who will play tight end for the Ravens this coming week.

Truth be told, Croyle hasn’t been very good this season. He lost the starting job in preseason and when he’s gotten a chance to play during the season, he hasn’t done anything of note. Truth be told, Croyle hasn’t been very good this season. He lost the starting job in preseason and when he’s gotten a chance to play during the season, he hasn’t done anything of note. That said, the Chiefs are playing against the struggling Detroit Lions this week. If Croyle is ever going to play well, now could be the time. If you are desperate QB, pick him up.

RB Dominic Rhodes, Oakland Raiders
With Justin Fargas getting hurt on Sunday, the starting job in Oakland looks to be headed into Rhodes’ hands. Rhodes hasn’t been overly successful this year but he should get a lot of carries from here on out. LaMont Jordan might also get some carries but it appears as if Rhodes is higher on the depth chart at the moment.

WR David Patten, New Orleans Saints
Drew Brees is playing very well and one of his biggest targets of late has been Patten. Ever since Reggie Bush got hurt, the Saints have turned into a pass happy team. Next to Marques Colston, Patten seems to be the best wide receiving option on the team. Expect him to continue get a lot targets over the next couple weeks.

TE Kevin Boss, New York Giants
With Jeremy Shockey out for the season with a broken fibula, the starting job should go to Boss. While you shouldn’t expect too much out of Boss, he has shown some glimpses of talent. With his size and good hands, he could very well turn into a red zone target for Eli Manning.
