Late in your fantasy basketball draft, you may be interested in rolling the dice on a player with a high ceiling who could become an overnight sensation. There are a number of fantasy basketball super sleepers that fit that bill. Here’s a look at some of these super sleepers:
C Channing Frye, Phoenix Suns
If you go back to his rookie season, Channing Frye looked like a star in the making. But since that point, the outside shooting bigman has struggled. That said, he’s now on the Suns and could very well be a starter. If he finds some of his lost …read more

Channing Frye has reportedly agreed to join the Phoenix Suns after agreeing to a two-year deal worth about $4 million. It will be a homecoming of sorts since Frye went to the University of Arizona.
Frye has been an interesting case so far in his NBA career. In his rookie season, the 8th overall pick of the 2005 draft was very good. He averaged 12.3 points and 5.7 rebounds in only 24.2 minutes per game.
However, since that point, Frye’s production has progressively slipped. He averaged 9.5 points in his second season, 6.8 points in his third season and 4.2 points …read more

Erick Dampier, Dallas Mavericks
Dampier is quietly coming on strong for the Mavs. He has beaten out DeSagana Diop for most of the center minutes for Dallas. While he isn’t going to give you huge amount of stats, he’s efficient and can help you with his blocked shots.
Joakim Noah, Chicago Bulls
Noah has had good per minutes stats all year and has had a few games recently that could open up some playing time for him. While the Bulls have a loaded front court, Noah is talented and can be a fantasy mainstay once he gets enough playing time. However, for …read more

Kareem Rush, Indiana Pacers
Rush exploded for 22 points on Wednesday and looked very good in doing so. However, that’s not something you can expect out of him. He’s a one-dimensional streak shooter who can just as easily go 1-for-8, just like he did the previous game for the Pacers. Keep him on your league’s waiver wire.
Wally Szczerbiak, Seattle Supersonics
Szczerbiak has had some big games this year. He’s shooting the ball well and he can light up the scoreboard. That said, his role in Seattle isn’t dependable enough to warrant a spot on your fantasy team. He’s not going to start …read more

Walter Herrmann, Charlotte Bobcats
Herrmann is currently a sleeper in drafts, but that could change when fantasy basketball owners figure out how he’s in a very good position to produce this season. With Sean May out for the season, Herrmann could very well end up starting at power forward. In 12 games as a starter last year, Herrmann averaged 19.6 points and 5.7 rebounds, while shooting nearly 60% from the field and 50% from three-point land. Those are staggering numbers for a player you can select deep in a fantasy draft.

Nene, Denver Nuggets
