NFL 2008 Mock Draft – Oakland Raiders

After yet another disappointing season in 2007, the Oakland Raiders are hoping that 2008 is the year that they can turn the corner. In 2007, the Raiders defense seemed to take a step back in effectiveness and the passing game was weak for most of the year. The good news is that the team’s running game was solid.
In this offseason, the Raiders have made a few subtle moves that should help them on the field in 2008. Their biggest splash was arguably the acquisition of wide receiver Javon Walker, who will enter this coming season as the …read more

NFL 2008 Mock Draft – St. Louis Rams

With the number two pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams are in a unique position. While their team likely isn’t good enough to win a Super Bowl, the team also isn’t as bad as their record last year indicates. The Rams ended up with the second worst record in the NFL mostly due to injuries.
Offensively, the Rams have a lot of good pieces. At quarterback, running back and wide receiver, the Rams have enough talent. Last year their offensive line was demolished by injuries and became the weakest part of the team.
Defensively, the Rams aren’t nearly …read more

NFL 2008 Mock Draft – Miami Dolphins

With the first pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, it’s difficult to figure out which direction the Miami Dolphins are headed. After such a miserable season, they have a lot of holes to fill. The 2008 draft has a lot of talented players and the Dolphins could decide to travel any number of routes.
With Bill Parcells manning the ship, one would assume that the Dolphins will go with a defensive player. Parcells has a defense first philosophy and Miami can certainly fill a need defensively.
If the Dolphins do decide to go with a defensive player, look for Chris Long …read more

Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins are locked into the first spot of the draft and Bill Parcells is now calling the shots in Miami. With Parcells at the helm, the Dolphins will probably go ahead and select the best football player in the draft. As of now, that player appears to be LSU’s Glenn Dorsey. A defensive tackle, Dorsey has a shot to be a dominant defensive player on the NFL level.
St. Louis …read more
