Eli Manning had a very good outing in Week 4 of the 2009 fantasy football season. However, an Eli Manning injury in the fourth quarter has his fantasy owners worried. When dropping back to pass, Manning apparently hurt his heel – without being touched.
The fact that it was a non-contact injury could be bad news. Sometimes when tendons or ligaments pop, it happens when no one else is around.

Kurt Warner, QB, Arizona Cardinals
With Matt Leinart out for an extended amount of time with a broken collarbone, the door is wide open for Warner to step through and post big numbers. He has two great receivers and an improved offensive line. Pickup Warner if he’s available. While he isn’t starting material right away, he could be very soon once he gets comfortable.

If you need a last second fill-in on your roster, look at these guys who you should be able to pickup and play.
David Carr, QB, Carolina Panthers – Carr was horrible in his debut in Week 4. With Jake Delhomme out injured, Carr laid an egg against Tampa Bay. That said, he’s worth an emergency start in Week 5.
