Kobe Bryant had a huge steal and a dunk to seal the win for the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5. The Boston Celtics, who remain one win away from winning the 2008 NBA championship, lost the game 103-98. The Celtics will go home and play two games in front of their home fans. One win and they are champions.

Dick Bavetta Investigated for Fixing NBA Games?

Dick Bavetta, the NBA referee who has reffed the most games in the history of the NBA, is reportedly under investigation for fixing games. According to two NBA referees, Bavetta has been a major topic of FBI investigators.
While Bavetta has a good reputation with NBA personnel, the commissioner’s office and most players, a number of NBA fans have long had suspicions about Bavetta. Here is a video that documents one fan’s opinion of questionable calls made by Bavetta:
