With Mike D’Antoni coaching the New York Knicks now, many thought that Eddy Curry’s days in the Big Apple were over. But on Thursday night, Curry made his 2008-09 debut.
Although he only played a few minutes, he looked decent. Obviously he’s out of shape – especially for D’Antoni’s system – but he wasn’t massively out of shape. He scored two points and pulled down two rebounds in his three minutes and hit his only attempt from the field.

Mike D’Antoni Hired by Knicks – Fantasy Impact?

Mike D’Antoni is leaving the Phoenix Suns to take over as the coach of the New York Knicks. D’Antoni was wooed by the Chicago Bulls but ultimately decided on the Bulls. New Knicks president Donnie Walsh got D’Antoni to join his team by offering a lot of money and a lot of belief in D’Antoni’s system.
