Wandy Rodriguez, the starting pitcher for the Houston Astros, pulled his hamstring during his start on Saturday. As a result, he had to leave the game after pitching four innings.

Sergio Mitre, a 28-year-old right-hander who last pitched for the Florida Marlins in 2007, will be the fifth starter for the New York Yankees for the time being. Mitre is expected to stay in this role while Chien-Ming Wang attempts to get healthy. Mitre’s first start will be Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles.
