Numerous reports indicate that Jamaal Magloire will sign with the Dallas Mavericks after he clears waivers. Magloire, who was waived by the New Jersey Nets, will replace the traded DeSagana Diop as the Mavs’ backup center.
While in New Jersey, Magloire played with Jason Kidd. Although the two didn’t play too many minutes together, they gained respect for each other. That could bode well for the duo in Dallas.

Grant Hill is aiming toward a Tuesday return to the lineup for the Phoenix Suns. Hill had an emergency appendectomy earlier in the month and was expected to miss two weeks. Tuesday would make exactly two weeks since his surgery.
