QB Tom Brady, New England Patriots
Forget about the walking boot. Brady is going to be ready to dominate in the Super Bowl. While he faces a tough defense, Brady is good enough to overcome just about anything at this point. With a chance to cement this Patriots team as perhaps the best team of all-time, expect Brady to bring his A game.
RB Laurence Maroney, New England Patriots
Maroney was a fantasy bust for much of the regular season. However, …read more

If you are still alive in your playoff fantasy football league and you have Tom Brady, you surely didn’t like the news that Tom Brady was seen wearing a walking cast on Monday. However, you should know that it is no time to panic.
In pictures snapped of Brady while he visited Gisele Bundchen, his girlfriend, Brady is seen with a walking cast. Recently, though, more and more players have used walking casts for minor injuries. All a walking cast does is immobilize and/or protect an injury. While it can be used to protect a broken bone, it can also …read more

QB Brett Favre, Green Bay Packers
In a losing effort, Favre had the best stats of any quarterback on Sunday. While all four quarterbacks struggled, Favre finished with two touchdowns, two interceptions and 236 yards. If you started Favre, you have to be decently happy with that output. However, Packers fans are going to have nightmares about his interception in overtime.
RB Laurence Maroney, New England Patriots
Maroney continues his late season tear. He had 122 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers and was arguably the best player on the field for the Patriots. He’s running hard and should be a force …read more

QB Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers
Rivers is listed as doubtful but he’s expected to play. Even if he’s suited up, avoid him at all costs. Their reports that Rivers has a partially torn ACL that he’s going to try to play through. If that’s the case, we’ll likely see Billy Volek at some point.
RB LaDainian Tomlinson, San Diego Chargers
Tomlinson missed time last week but should be fine this week. Even with an unsettled quarterback situation, Tomlinson is a safe start. Norv Turner likes to run the ball and he’ll stick with the run even if he’s down. Make sure Tomlinson …read more

QB Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers
The New England Patriots defense is good but it’ s hardly as dominant as some league pundits make it out to be. With the Patriots keying the run on Sunday, look for the Chargers to throw early and throw often. Although Rivers is a bit banged up, he should be able to throw the ball downfield and hope for big plays out of Chris Chambers and Vincent Jackson.
RB Ahmad Bradshaw, New York Giants
Bradshaw doesn’ t even start for the Giants but he’ s been impressive when carrying the ball. He actually leads the Giants …read more

QB Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers
Rivers hurt his knee late in the game against the Indianapolis Colts and wasn’t able to return. As the Chargers head into a matchup next week against the New England Patriots, it’ll be interesting to see who will start at quarterback. If Rivers can’t go, Billy Volek will get the nod. However, in terms of fantasy football, neither player is a promises play next week.

Need to start a couple studs on Sunday? Check out these players.
QB Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts
Manning got the monkey off of his back last season with his Super Bowl victory. Now he comes into these playoffs without nearly as much pressure as in years past. With that in mind, expect him to play well against the Chargers. He has Marvin Harrison back and should be able to throw at least a couple touchdown passes.

QB Matt Hasselbeck, Seattle Seahawks
If the Seahawks are going to do anything, it’s going to be because Hasselbeck has a big day. There might not be another team in the playoffs who is as dependant on their quarterback than the Seahawks. Hasselbeck is going against the tough Green Bay Packers defense but he should be able to get at least a couple touchdowns.
RB Ryan Grant, Green Bay Packers
Grant has been a very good running back for the Packers during the second half of the season. With the weather cold and the Packers looking to lean on their defense, Grant should …read more

QB Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
Romo hurt his thumb late in the regular season and his play suffered down the stretch. It’s tough to say whether the injury caused the poor play or whether it was simply a case of the Cowboys winding down in preparation for the playoffs. Whatever the truth is, Romo had one touchdown and five interceptions in his final three games. Can he turn it around against the New York Giants? Chances are he will but that thumb injury could make him a dangerous start.
