Gerald Wallace has been out since February 22nd when the 25-year-old forward suffered his fourth concussion of his professional career. While the number of concussions is definitely concerning, the good news is that Wallace is expected to return at some point in the next one to two weeks.
Said head coach Sam Vincent: “He’s feeling a lot better. The headaches are gone. I think it’s just a matter of him getting the final clearance to get back involved in full contact. From there we’ll get him in some practices and let him and see how he responds to that. If he …read more

Fantasy owners have to be annoyed with this injury. Right when Gerald Wallace starts playing great, he goes down with an injured foot. After starting the season off relatively slowly, Wallace averaged 23.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.1 blocks. Now fantasy owners will be without Wallace for at least a week.
Most likely, Wallace will be ready to return for the February 10th game against the Detroit Pistons. However, if Wallace’s foot is still giving him trouble, the Bobcats may opt to sit him all the way until February 19th against the San Antonio Spurs.

There are a number of players who were highly ranked in the preseason who have underperformed to start the season. Are these players busts or simply off to a slow start? Let’s take a look at some of these players:
Pau Gasol, Memphis Grizzlies
Gasol’s numbers are down across the board. If you drafted him, you are probably mad about his production – or lack thereof. While it’s not guaranteed that he’ll eventually bounce back, the good news is that he’s playing better as of late.
Chris Bosh, Toronto Raptors
Bosh, like Gasol, has seen his numbers go down in virtually all …read more

Grant Hill, Phoenix Suns
Hill was the story of Thursday’s preseason action. The former superstar who has been slowed by injuries had a breakout performance. In the first half against the Los Angeles Clippers, Hill had 21 points to show that he still has a little bit of magic left.
