Gilbert Arenas was first said to be targeting December for his return from knee surgery. December got pushed back to January. Now there are rumors that Gilbert Arenas is out for the season. While these rumors have been far from verified by Arenas or anyone with the Wizards, it’d make some sense.

Gilbert Arenas Injury Update – January?

Gilbert Arenas isn’t exactly close to being back on the court for the Washington Wizards but there are signs that he could be back in the next few months. Arenas was seen warming up prior to a recent Wizards game. Although he’s still not clear for contact, the fact that he’s on the basketball court again is cause for optimism.

Gilbert Arenas took the first step in his return from his knee injury. Cleared for light practice, Arenas was back on the basketball court on Monday. While he’s still not able to practice fully, this is a good sign for Arenas owners.
Not too long ago, there were rumblings Arenas would possibly miss the rest of the season. However, with the news that Arenas is well enough to start working out on the court, it’s not too unreasonable to expect him back within the next couple of weeks.

Gilbert Arenas Injury Update

Arenas, who has missed much of the season with a knee injury, sent shockwaves through the fantasy world when he said that he might miss the rest of the season. That wasn’t the Gilbert Arenas injury update fantasy owners (or Wizards fans) were hoping to hear out of the horse’s mouth.
Arenas insists that he’s pain-free but says that he doesn’t want to return until he’s completely confident in his knee. After missing the end of last season with a knee injury that required surgery, Arenas had a second surgery in November. His original prognosis had him out three months.
