QB Chad Henne, Miami Dolphins
Although the Dolphins are coming off of a bye, don’t forget about Chad Henne. In Week 5, he was 20-for-26 with 241 yards and two touchdowns against a tough Jets defense. The youngster has a relatively high ceiling.

RB Laurence Maroney, New England Patriots
Fred Taylor had ankle surgery. Sammy Morris left Week 6 due to injury. Now the job appears to be Laurence Maroney’s to lose. In Week 6, Maroney had 123 yards and a touchdown. Against the Bucs in Week 7, he could be valuable.

WR Michael Crabtree, San Francisco 49ers
Considering that rookie wide receivers rarely produce and rookie holdouts also rarely produce, it’s difficult to believe in Michael Crabtree. That said, the Niners will reportedly throw him into the fire soon and let him sink or swim. If he swims, he could help your fantasy team.

TE Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers
It might be time to begin starting Heath Miller with confidence. He has at least five catches in his last four games and has four touchdowns in his last three games. If he’s available, snag him.

Brent Celek has quietly been one of the most productive tight ends in 2008 playoff fantasy football. Donovan McNabb likes to look for Celek, especially near the goal line. He’s a safe gamble to haul in at least a few passes this weekend.
Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers
Although Heath Miller doesn’t always get the targets, he’s a talented tight end who is capable of having a big game. At different points in his career, he’s appeared to be on the brink of really breaking out. This weekend, he has a decent shot of scoring a touchdown.

Although Heath Miller doesn’t always get the targets, he’s a talented tight end who is capable of having a big game. At different points in his career, he’s appeared to be on the brink of really breaking out. This weekend, he has a decent shot of scoring a touchdown.

Todd Heap, Baltimore Ravens
Not too long ago, Todd Heap was one of the best fantasy tight ends in the entire NFL. This year, he started slow and then slowly started to produce better once Joe Flacco got comfortable with him. This week he doesn’t have a high ceiling but he should see at least a few passes thrown his way.

LJ Smith, Philadelphia Eagles
Although Celek has been the more productive tight end as of late, don’t forget about LJ Smith. He’s talented, he has experience and he’s always seemingly been a McNabb favorite. Around the goal line, the Eagles have a tendency to look at their tight ends — which makes Smith a decent enough start.

QB Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens
Usually when you are looking for a quarterback, you don’t look at the Ravens. But right now, rookie quarterback Joe Flacco is turning heads. He has at least one touchdown in his last six games and has two touchdowns in three of his last four games. This week against the Cincinnati Bengals he should be able to keep those streaks alive.

RB Maurice Morris, Seattle Seahawks
Although Julius Jones has been the running back for most of the season for the Seahawks, he seems to have lost his starting job to Maurice Morris. Last week, Morris had 14 carries for 103 yards and also had three receptions. He’s not a great option at the moment but he’s somewhat reliable in a pinch.

WR Davone Bess, Miami Dolphins
With Greg Camarillo out for the season, Davone Bess now moves up the depth charts and into a starting roll. Quarterback Chad Pennington is playing well so any wide receiver whose on the field a lot will have value. Since Bess is young, his ceiling is higher than if a veteran took over that role. Keep an eye on him.

TE Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers
After missing several weeks due to injury, Heath Miller was back in the lineup for the Steelers this past weekend. In his return, Miller caught four passes and scored a touchdown. He’d be a risky start in Week 13 but Miller definitely has top ten tight end talent and would be a good pickup off of a fantasy football waiver wire.
