Tony Parker Injury Update – Fantasy Impact

Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs thrilled fantasy basketball owners recently when he had a game with 55 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. He then had fantasy owners shedding tears the next game when he injured his ankle. The ankle injury is expected to keep Parker out for about a month.
For the Spurs, this is a devastating blow. Parker will join Manu Ginobili on the sidelines and now Tim Duncan will have to fend for himself. With Ginobili out another 3-to-5 weeks, winning is going to be a difficult task for San Antonio.

Tony Parker Injury Update

The struggling San Antonio Spurs got bad news recently when head coach Gregg Popovich announced that starting point guard Tony Parker would be out indefinitely due to soreness in his foot. Parker, who has been dealing with the soreness for approximately six weeks, sat out against the Seattle Supersonics on Tuesday.
Parker returned to San Antonio and had an MRI on Wednesday and the results will be released on Thursday. The soonest possible return date is next Tuesday but everything points to Parker being out much longer. There’s a good chance that Parker will be out until after the All-Star break. …read more
