Week 14 Waiver Wire Fantasy Pickups

QB Matt Schaub, Houston Texans
Although he’s still out injured Matt Schaub should be returning in one of the upcoming weeks. There’s even a chance that he may be ready to go in Week 14. Once he gets back on the field, Schaub very well could be a top ten starter the rest of the way. If he’s available on your Week 14 waiver wire, go ahead and pick him up.
RB Brandon Jackson, Green Bay Packers
Ryan Grant has had a disappointing season and now he even has an injury. While the injury isn’t considered severe, Brandon Jackson has looked better than …read more

Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 3 – Fantasy Football

QB JT O’Sullivan, San Francisco 49ers
With the Detroit Lions next on the schedule, JT O’Sullivan is a very good start. He started off the season shaky but stepped it up in the second half of his Week 2 game. He could become a good backup fantasy football QB.
RB Michael Bush, Oakland Raiders
The Raiders like to run the ball. A lot. With Justin Fargas going down with a groin injury and Darren McFadden favoring an injured toe, Michael Bush could be the starter before long in Oakland.
WR Muhsin Muhammad, Carolina Panthers
Not too long ago, Muhsin Muhammad and …read more

QB Kerry Collins, Tennessee Titans
With Vince Young injured, Kerry Collins will step in as quarterback for the Titans. Collins has a great matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals and could be in line for a big day.
RB Sammy Morris, New England Patriots
Tom Brady won’t be there to pass around the football for the Patriots, which could lead to more runs for Sammy Morris. He had a good Week 1 and should follow that up …read more

John Carlson 2008 Fantasy Projections – Seattle Seahawks

Although the Seattle Seahawks had other draft picks in the 2008 NFL Draft, their second round pick is likely their most important pick of the draft. The Seahawks picked John Carlson in the second round, who is a tight end out of Notre Dame.
Tight end has long been a trouble spot for the Seahawks. Either they’ve had a tight end that can block but can’t catch, or a tight end that can catch but can’t block. Carlson has a chance to be Seattle’s first tight end in a long time that can both catch and …read more

2008 NFL Draft – Tight End Prospects

1. Fred Davis, USC
A possible first round draft pick, Davis is arguably the best tight end prospect in the 2008 NFL Draft. He’s athletic and quick with good speed, although he could afford to get a big stronger.

2. Martin Rucker, Missouri
Rucker isn’t very big nor is he very fast but he’s a very solid football player. He’s the type of player who can come up with the big catch when it’s needed most. He’ll need to get stronger to truly flourish in the NFL, though.
3. John Carlson, Notre Dame
Notre Dame had a disastrous season last …read more

2008 NFL Draft: Looking Ahead

If you are in a dynasty league and your season is over, you are looking ahead to some of the college talent that is coming out this season. There are a number of impact players in this year’s draft, which is good news for dynasty teams that finished near the bottom.
QB Brian Brohm, Louisville
Brohm was the top rated quarterback coming into this season and he performed very well this season. While he didn’t quite have the senior season that some people projected, he’s still a sure fire first rounder who could very well end up going in the top five. …read more
