We are two weeks into the 2009 fantasy football season and there are a number of very interesting fantasy players that are starting to emerge. Here is a group of super sleepers who could burst onto the scene at some point during the fantasy football season in 2009.
QB Derek Anderson, Cleveland Browns
Starter Brady Quinn doesn’t have too tight of a grip on the starting quarterback job in Cleveland. If he doesn’t start playing better, Derek Anderson will get the job. And as we saw a couple of seasons ago, Anderson is definitely capable of being a fantasy beast.

2008 NFL Draft – Running Back Sleepers

1. Matthew Forte, Tulane (6-1 1/8, 221)
Forte is a strong back who could become a touchdown vulture in the NFL as early as next year. He won’t be picked before the early third round of the NFL Draft, however he could come in and be a goal line back right away.
2. Chris Johnson, East Carolina (5-10 1/2, 195)
Johnson has speed to burn. He’s pretty small and will need to add strength to succeed in the NFL. However, with NFL teams coveting speed at running back more than ever, Johnson could go relatively early in the NFL Draft.
