Denver Nuggets – Fantasy Basketball Analysis

After the Chauncey Billups trade in which the Denver Nuggets sent away Allen Iverson, the makeup and chemistry of the team has changed substantially. That has trickled down into the fantasy basketball world. Here is a look at the key players on the Nuggets and an analysis regarding their current stance in the fantasy basketball world:
Chauncey Billups
Although Chauncey Billups’ stats have slowly been going downhill in recent years, look for him to have a very good season this year for the Nuggets. Coach George Karl has given him complete control of the team and Billups is even more involved than …read more

Fantasy Basketball Week 7: Waiver Wire Pickups

Travis Outlaw, Portland Trail Blazers
If he’s available on your league’s waiver wire, pick him up. Outlaw, who has always had loads of potential, has scored at least 20 points in three straight games and seems as if he’s finally starting to blossom. Equally impressive was his shooting – 12-of-14 from the field, including 1-for-1 from three-point land. Brendan Haywood turned an ankle during the game, which could spell more playing time for Blatche. Pick him up if you have the chance.
Kenyon Martin, Denver Nuggets
If you watch Martin play, you would never guess that he has had to …read more

Fantasy Players on the Mend

While researching for fantasy basketball, one aspect to remember is the players coming back from injury.  While their numbers don’t stack up with other fantasy hopefuls, you can find great sleepers by looking at this group of players.
Robert Swift, Seattle Supersonics
Swift is a major sleeper this season.  After missing all of last season when he tore his ACL in preseason, he’s flying way under the radar.  However, he could very well be worth a draft pick this year.  He has put on upwards of 40 pounds of muscle this offseason and could start at center for the Sonics.  Keep an …read more
