QB Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers is already arguably the best fantasy football quarterback in the NFL. Going against the Lions is just gravy.

RB Marion Barber, Dallas Cowboys
The Raiders will be in Big D. That should translate for a big game for the the Cowboys’ big, bruising running back.

WR Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions
The only thing that slows down Calvin Johnson is injuries. If he’s playing, start him with confidence. But watch out, he’s currently listed as questionable.

TE Kevin Boss, New York Giants
Kevin Boss is on fire. Over the last three weeks, he has four touchdowns. Another touchdown on Thanksgiving wouldn’t be much of a shock.

QB Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
Although Tony Romo is playing very well as of late, the Cowboys tend to struggle in Philadelphia. Don’t be too high on him solely based on his recent play.

RB Pierre Thomas, New Orleans Saints
Pierre Thomas is scoring touchdowns but he’s quietly losing his grip on the running back job in New Orleans. Mike Bell is getting more than a fair share of carries and Thomas could become a touchdown-or-bust player soon enough.

WR Andre Johnson, Houston Texans
The Colts defense is stout and the loss of Owen Daniels will hurt the Texans — at least in the short term. Don’t expect AJ to explode in Week 9.

TE Kevin Boss, New York Giants
Kevin Boss is coming off of a big game last week but it should be noted that Eli Manning doesn’t appear to be healthy and Boss has been inconsistent.

RB Fred Jackson, Buffalo Bills
Fred Jackson has emerged as one of the better backup running backs in the NFL in 2008. In Week 12, Jackson and the Bills take on the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs have played decently lately but they remain a horrid defensive team against the run. Look for Jackson to get plenty of touches and produce like a starter in Week 12.

WR Devin Hester, Chicago Bears
The St. Louis Rams have been horrible recently, especially when it comes to making tackles. With Devin Hester coming to town, that’s a bad combination. While Hester hasn’t had the amazing year many expected, he’s still a threat to break a long one — whether in the passing game or the return game. Week 12 may be his breakout game owners have been waiting for.

TE Kevin Boss, New York Giants
Last week, Kevin Boss was held without a catch. But that was against the Baltimore Ravens, one of the best defensive teams in the NFL. In the previous three weeks, Boss caught a touchdown pass in each. In Week 12, the Giants go up against the Arizona Cardinals and Boss should be able to get back into the swing of things.

QB Tyler Thigpen, Kansas City Chiefs
Entering the 2008 fantasy football season, Tyler Thigpen was the third quarterback on the Chiefs depth chart. Now Thigpen has ascended to the starting spot and he’s producing very well. He appears to be a legit quarterback and is very likely Kansas City’s QB of the future. Pick him up now and he can serve as a quality fantasy football option depending on the matchup.

RB Peyton Hillis, Denver Broncos
Although he’s more of a fullback, Peyton Hillis should become the new running back for the Broncos. Injuries to Selvin Young, Michael Pittman, Andre Hall and Ryan Torain have opened the door for Hillis to get a shot. As any fantasy football veteran can tell you, picking up the right Broncos running back at the right time can lead to big things.

WR Mark Bradley, Kansas City Chiefs
With Thigpen delivering him the ball, Mark Bradley has emerged as a quality fantasy football wide receiver option. In fact, with as hot as he currently is, he’s a player you need to get into your starting lineup. Once he gets the ball in his hands, he can use his quicks to make plays and score touchdowns.

TE Kevin Boss, New York Giants
For the third consecutive week, Kevin Boss scored a touchdown. He’s emerging as one of Eli Manning’s favorite targets, especially around the endzone. With as well as he has been playing in recent weeks, Boss certainly can start on your 2008 fantasy football team.

RB Darren Sproles, San Diego Chargers
With the Chargers hosting the Kansas City Chiefs this week, it’s a great time to gamble on a big game from Darren Sproles. The Chiefs have a horrible run defense and they very likely could get blown out this week. If Sproles gets at least eight touches this week, there’s a chance he could put up a solid fantasy football line.

WR Koren Robinson, Seattle Seahawks
In recent weeks, Koren Robinson has quietly become the most productive wide receiver on the Seahawks. Last week, he had a 90-yard reception for a touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles. This week against the Miami Dolphins, Robinson should be able to get four or five catches and his speed gives him the capability of breaking a long one.

TE Kevin Boss, New York Giants
Kevin Boss hasn’t been as productive as many fantasy football owners thought he’d be during the 2008 season, but he’s been more productive lately. In his last two weeks, he has a touchdown in each game and a total of seven receptions. With Eli Manning looking for him more, there’s a chance he can get another touchdown this weekend in Week 10.

Todd Heap – Speaking of injuries, Todd Heap is the walking injury bug. Simply can’t trust him.

Tony Scheffler – Very good talent but Tony Scheffler is still a work in progress as an NFL player.

Greg Olsen – As a second year player, Greg Olsen has good promise. Problem is he shares time with Desmond Clark.

Kevin Boss – Don’t let the Super Bowl blind you to the fact that he’s mostly a blocking option for the Giants.

RB Ahmad Bradshaw, New York Giants
Ahmad Bradshaw came off the bench and again provided a spark for the Giants. On nine carries, Bradshaw led the Giants with 45 yards rushing. With starter Brandon Jacobs being held to only three yards per carry, Bradshaw’s production was vital for the Giants. He won’t get much recognition but Bradshaw was one of the many heroes for New York.

WR David Tyree, New York Giants
Who? That’s the question you would have likely asked before the start of the Super Bowl. But David Tyree came up with one of the greatest catches in NFL history when the Giants needed it most in the fourth quarter. After Manning scrambled to buy time, Tyree jumped and made a one-handed catch that will be replayed millions of times between now and however long the NFL is in existence.

Simply amazing pass from Eli Manning to David Tyree …

TE Kevin Boss, New York Giants
I’ve praised him a lot since he took over for Jeremy Shockey and Kevin Boss didn’t disappoint. Although he only had one catch, the catch was a 45 yard completion that helped the Giants move the ball down the field when they desperately needed to do so. Boss also provided solid blocking all night. Throughout the playoffs, Boss showed enough that the Giants may opt to trade or even release Shockey.

New York Giants Defense
Amazing, amazing performance by the defense. The Giants flustered Tom Brady all night long and the pounding was enough to wear out Brady and end his magical season. After playing horribly in the first two weeks of the season, the Giants picked it up and became dominant throughout the rest of the year. Against the Patriots, the Giants defense shined bright.

QB Tom Brady, New England Patriots
Forget about the walking boot. Brady is going to be ready to dominate in the Super Bowl. While he faces a tough defense, Brady is good enough to overcome just about anything at this point. With a chance to cement this Patriots team as perhaps the best team of all-time, expect Brady to bring his A game.

RB Laurence Maroney, New England Patriots
Maroney was a fantasy bust for much of the regular season. However, he has come on strong as of late and is playing like a beast right now. Maroney is a tough, physical back who enjoys contact. This Super Bowl could be his coming out party as he cements his spot as the starting running back going forward for the Patriots.

WR Plaxico Burress, New York Giants
If you watched Burress dominate the Green Bay Packers, it’d be hard to bet against him in the Super Bowl. Burress willed his team to victory, even though he was playing with a bum ankle on the frozen tundra. The Patriots will have their hands full trying to contain Burress on this big stage.

TE Kevin Boss, New York Giants
Boss is a big, sturdy target for Eli Manning in the red zone. He won’t rack up a lot of catches but he has a decent shot at grabbing a touchdown pass. Boss is also playing for a shot at a starting gig – either in New York or elsewhere.

RB Ryan Grant, Green Bay Packers
Grant had two early fumbles last week but bounced back and had a huge performance. With over 200 yards on the ground, Grant answered any pending questions regarding whether he’s tough enough to strive in the playoffs. Against the Giants, expect the Packers to try to establish a run game so the Giants aren’t able to send as many blitzes as they sent against the Dallas Cowboys.

WR Amani Toomer, New York Giants
Toomer had three touchdowns during 16 regular season games. In two playoff games, he already has three touchdowns. With Plaxico Burress slowed with an ankle injury, Toomer has become Eli Manning’s main option. While Favre has a handful of options, Toomer is a hot receiver who Manning will no doubt look at for big production this week.

TE Kevin Boss, New York Giants
While Boss hasn’t been very active so far in the playoffs, he remains a vital part of the Giants’ offense. Especially when the team is in the red zone, Boss might become the team’s best receiving threat. The Packers are good at stuffing the run and their corners are very good. That means Boss will need to produce in those situations for the Giants to have a chance.

RB Earnest Graham, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
It’s tough calling Graham a sleeper these days after his great season, but Graham still doesn’t receive the respect he’s due in fantasy football. Graham had ten touchdowns this year despite not being the full-time starter. This week against the New York Giants, the Bucs will likely keep the ball on the ground. With that in mind, Graham should be good for a touchdown in this playoff matchup.

WR Santana Moss, Washington Redskins
Moss had a really difficult season for the Redskins but he played his best football at the end of the season. Over the last three games, he had two touchdowns and had at least 70 receiving yards in each contest. His last game of the season was his best as Moss went for eight catches, 115 yards and a touchdown in a must-win setting. The Seattle Seahawks are good defensively, however Moss should still be able to produce.

TE Kevin Boss, New York Giants
With Jeremy Shockey out for the season, Boss is the new tight end in New York. Boss has good size, good hands and is a decent athlete. Boss is another player who is coming off his best game, as he had four catches, 50 yards and a touchdown against the New England Patriots.
