Heading into the 2009 fantasy football season, no one knew what to expect from the New England Patriots running backs. We didn’t know who would start, who would get touches and if any of them were worth a fantasy roster spot.
On Monday night, we started getting answered. Heading into the game, Sammy Morris supposedly was the starting running back. In typical Bill Belichick fashion, Morris didn’t even get a carry. Instead, he spent most of his time at full back.

QB Shaun Hill, San Francisco 49ers
Shaun Hill is now the starting quarterback in San Francisco and makes for a very fine Week 9 Waiver Wire pickup. With Mike Martz still with the 49ers, you can expect the team to throw the ball a lot. Hill was somewhat effective last season and has a chance to become a decent backup for the rest of the fantasy football season.

Week 11: Fantasy Football Injury Report
QB Donovan McNabb, Philadelphia Eagles – McNabb suffered a sprained ankle in the first half against the Miami Dolphins. McNabb wasn’t able to return but the Eagles went on to win without his services. Andy Reid said after the game that McNabb would remain the starter if he’s healthy enough to play in Week 12. McNabb has a history of playing with injuries but keep an eye on whether he practices this week.
