Kevin Garnett Injury Info – Fantasy Impact

Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics is dealing with an injured knee that will sideline him for two to three weeks. Garnett’s injury is a strained muscle behind his right knee and while it isn’t considered serious, he has to take his time rehabbing it to make sure it doesn’t get worse.
This is obviously bad news for both the Celtics and Garnett fantasy owners. Although Garnett isn’t having a hugely impressive statistical season, he’s arguably the piece of the puzzle that makes Boston tick.

Kevin Garnett and Tony Parker Injury Update

When the San Antonio Spurs and the Boston Celtics played on Sunday, both teams were missing integral parts of their team. For the Celtics, it was superstar bigman Kevin Garnett. The Spurs, on the other hand, were missing point guard Tony Parker.
Although Garnett is sidelined with an abdominal strain and Parker is out with an ankle injury, both players seem to be in the same point. Doc Rivers and Gregg Popovich are both indicating that their star player is out until after the All-Star break. However, both should be able to return at some point right after the break.

Kevin Garnett Injury Update

A strained abdominal muscle is forcing Kevin Garnett to miss some playing time for the Boston Celtics. Garnett originally got hurt against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He left that game but returned to the court late in the game.
Since then, Garnett has missed games against the Orlando Magic and the Miami Heat. The Magic were able to beat the Celtics on a last second three-pointer by Hedo Turkoglu, while the Celtics destroyed the Heat. Against the Heat, Ray Allen also missed the game due to flu-like symptoms.
