It’s not too surprising that Larry Fitzgerald was Warner’s main target. Fitzgerald had nine receptions for 123 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

TE Dallas Clark, Indianapolis Colts
It’s becoming more and more obvious that Dallas Clark is the most productive tight end in fantasy football. In Week 9 of the 2009 fantasy football season, Clark had 14 catches for 119 yards.

QB Matt Cassel, Kansas City Chiefs

RB Matt Forte, Chicago Bears
In most fantasy football drafts, Matt Forte was picked in the top five. After three weeks, that looks like a bad selection. He’s not producing much and his chemistry with Jay Cutler doesn’t appear to be great.

WR Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals
After being the top wide receiver in many fantasy drafts, Larry Fitzgerald has been good but hasn’t lived up to the hype. With all the receiving options in Arizona, there’s no guarantee that he’ll be able to reach that level.

TE Zach Miller, Oakland Raiders
Many fantasy experts thought that Zach Miller would have a breakout season. However, with JaMarcus Russell stinking up the joint, Miller has definitely been underwhelming leading into Week 3 of the 2009 fantasy football season.

As Brett Favre loosens up his aging body, expect the Vikings to give the rock to Adrian Peterson early and often.

WR Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals
The last we saw Larry Fitzgerald he was setting all-time NFL playoff records. In Week 1 against the 49ers, he should stay hot.

TE Antonio Gates, San Diego Chargers
Going up against the Raiders, Antonio Gates should get plenty of opportunities to start his 2009 fantasy football season out on the right foot.

K Kris Brown, Houston Texans
The Jets are a tough defense but the Texans should have a very potent offense. The rest of these two teams meeting could be a lot of field goals.

D Baltimore Ravens
The Kansas City Chiefs have a lot of offensive issues. Starting out on the road in Baltimore is great news for the Ravens D.

Here’s a look at the top of our wide receiver rankings for the 2009 fantasy football season.

1. Randy Moss, New England Patriots

2. Andre Johnson, Houston Texans
He had a somewhat slow start last season but Andre Johnson is in an offense that lets his talents shine. He should be very good in 2009.

3. Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals
When it comes to abilities, Larry Fitzgerald is one of the top two or three wide receivers in the NFL. If Kurt Warner stays healthy, watch out.

4. Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions
If the Lions can be halfway decent this year, Calvin Johnson has the tools to be a fantasy football force.

5. Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers
Steve Smith has been a little banged up in training camp but he’s a player who you can count on to produce when he’s on the field.

In total, Fitzgerald has 419 yards and five touchdowns grabs in his three playoff games. In each of the contests, he has caught a pass for more than 40 yards.

Fitzgerald’s hot streak actually began at the end of the regular season. He ended the season with two straight games with at least 100 yards receiving and had a total of six touchdown grabs in his last five games.

In the Super Bowl, Fitzgerald will have to come up big for the Cardinals to have a chance against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although the Steelers have a stout defense, Fitzgerald is talented enough to overwhelm any defense.

If you are playing playoff fantasy football, Fitzgerald is the wide receiver you want on your team right now. He’s the most talented offensive player on either team and he’s playing extremely well right now. Start him with the utmost of confidence.

Even though the Cardinals are the underdog this week and going against a stout Eagles defense, Fitzgerald is the best wide receiver option in the fantasy world.
2. Hines Ward, Pittsburgh Steelers
If you want a solid wide receiver who will thrive in the physical matchup between the Steelers and Ravens, look no further than Hines Ward. In the 2009 NFL playoffs, Larry Fitzgerald is playing the best football of his career. He’s catching jump balls and running precise routes.

He’ll find a way to haul in some catches and make plays. When Ben Roethlisberger gets in trouble, Ward is the player he looks to pass it to.

3. Anquan Boldin, Arizona Cardinals
Sure, Anquan Boldin is injured. He missed last week’s game and though he’ll play this week in all likelihood, it’s easy to worry about his production. But he’s so talented and his potential every week is so high that he’s worth rolling the dice on.

4. Derrick Mason, Baltimore Ravens
If the Ravens are going to move the ball through the air at all, it’ll be due to Derrick Mason having a big game. He’s an underrated talent at the wide receiver position and he has enough experience in big games to trust that he’ll come through this weekend.

5. DeSean Jackson, Philadelphia Eagles
Although he’s a rookie, there’s no question that DeSean Jackson is both the Eagles’ most talented and most explosive wide receiving option. With a very good matchup against the Cardinals, Jackson could very well end the week as the talk of the NFL and make owners happy in playoff fantasy football.

RB Brian Westbrook, Philadelphia Eagles
McNabb wasn’t the only Eagles player who had a breakout game. Brian Westbrook, who had been slowed lately due to injury, had a huge day. Westbrook finished the game with four total touchdowns — two rushing and two receiving. If McNabb can get back to playing at a high level and Westbrook can stay healthy, this duo could be deadly coming down the stretch.

WR Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals
Although Larry Fitzgerald didn’t have a great amount of yards in Week 13 on Thanksgiving, he made up with it by scoring two touchdowns. Overall, Fitzgerald finished with five catches for 65 yards and those two TDs. While Anquan Boldin has overshadowed him at times this season, that wasn’t the case on Thanksgiving.

TE Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
Since breaking a rib earlier in the season, Jason Witten hadn’t been his usual dominant self. On Thanksgiving, he finally seemed close to 100% and responded with a big game. Witten had 115 yards on nine catches and also notched a touchdown. Pencil in Witten for big fantasy football weeks for the rest of the season.
