While the NBA lottery order hasn’t been determined yet, here is how I see the draft going if the most statistically likely teams ended up with the top picks.

1. Miami Heat – Derrick Rose
While Michael Beasley is a great prospect, the Heat desperately need a point guard to put next to Dwyane Wade. Derrick Rose would work perfectly with the Heat.
2. Seattle Supersonics – Michael Beasley
Michael Beasley, Kevin Durant and Jeff Green would give the Supersonics an amazing swingman rotation. That threesome would be able to grow up together and …read more

After entering this season as a good overseas prospect, Danilo Gallinari has now become the near consensus pick as the top overseas prospect in the 2008 NBA Draft. Gallinari has played exceptionally well in Italy this season, especially considering he is only 19 years old.
At 6-foot-9, Gallinari has varied skills that have scouts thinking he can play either shooting guard or point guard. There are even some scouts who think Gallinari has the ball handling ability and the passing ability to play a bit at point guard if needed.
When watching Gallinari, the thing that first becomes obvious is …read more

After a stellar freshman season, Eric Gordon has entered the 2008 NBA Draft. This high scoring guard out of Indiana is expected to be a lottery pick.
In his one year in college, Gordon averaged over 20 points per game. From the first game of the season, Gordon proved that he has the ability to be a big time scorer. NBA scouts love his ability to score from various spots on the court.
However, there are a number of question marks that Gordon is going to answer before the draft. At 6-foot-4, Gordon has the body of a …read more

While Derrick Rose and Chris Douglas-Roberts get a lot of the recognition, they aren’t the only players on the Memphis Tigers who will hear their name announced during the 2008 NBA Draft. Joey Dorsey is another Memphis player who will be drafted into the NBA.
Dorsey is a bit of an odd prospect because he isn’t much of an offensive player. In fact, he is averaging less than seven points per game. However, Dorsey makes his name on the defensive end of the court. At 6-foot-9 and 265 pounds, Dorsey is a great rebounder and is very …read more

If you are in a dynasty league, it’s important to know which players coming into the league could help your team. Here’s a look far into the future as we take a peak at the 2009 NBA Draft and look at the top five prospects.
1) Demar DeRozan, Compton High School
DeRozan is a 6-foot-6 shooting guard from Compton, California who is headed to USC next season. DeRozan is an explosive guard who can score from above the rim. His jumper is decent and his basketball IQ seems to be high for a high school player. Look for him to make an …read more

If you are in a dynasty league, it’s time to start looking at what international players could make a splash in the NBA next season. Here’s a list of player who all have a chance of being drafted in the first round.
Nicolas Batum, France
Batum is a 6-foot-8 small forward prospect who has a nice amount of skill. While he’s not a pure jump shooter yet, his all-around abilities have scouts loving his long-term potential. If he plays well in workouts, he could move into the top five players drafted in 2008.
Danilo Gallinari, Italy
Gallinari is 6-foot-9 but he has the skills …read more

If you are in a dynasty league, it’s never too early to look ahead to the draft. This year, there are a bunch of quality prospects who could enter their name for selection.
Here is a look at my projected top five picks of the 2008 NBA Draft:
Michael Beasley, Kansas State
Beasley, a freshman, has been beastly to start off his NCAA career. After six games, he’s averaging 27.2 points and 15.5 rebounds while shooting 61.2% from the field. He projects to be a stud power forward on the NBA level.
OJ Mayo, USC
Mayo has been a star …read more
