The 2009 NBA Draft will take place at the end of June. However, if you are playing dynasty fantasy basketball, it’s never too early to take a look at the top prospects.

1. Blake Griffin, Oklahoma
Griffin will go number one overall. This athletic bigman has a chance to be a double-double machine.

2. Ricky Rubio, Spain
One of the most hyped players from Europe of all-time, Rubio already has a lot of fans in the United States.

3. Hasheem Thabeet, Connecticut
A big shot-blocking center, Hasheem Thabeet will tempt teams with his huge size and wingspan.

4. James Harden, Arizona State
Every team could use more scoring and Harden is the best shooting guard in the draft.

5. Jordan Hill, Arizona
A great athlete, Hill has a huge amount of potential in the NBA.

6. Stephen Curry, Davidson
Dell’s son is a fantastic shooter who can spread defenses right away.

7. Brandon Jennings, Lottomatica Roma
He struggled in Europe but scouts were high enough on him that he won’t drop too far.

8. Demar DeRozan, USC
Coming into this year, DeRozan was a top-flight prospect. While not as hot, he’ll get picked near the top.

9. Earl Clark, Louisville
Clark has the type of body that will allow him to be a multi-purpose player in the next level.

10. Ty Lawson, North Carolina
Lawson was the best player on the best team in the nation. His speed will seduce.

The Chicago Bulls won the 2008 NBA draft lottery on Tuesday. The Bulls now have the first pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. Below you will find a mock draft and video of the Bulls winning the lottery:

1. Chicago Bulls – Derrick Rose
While the Bulls will be tempted to pick Michael Beasley, the Bulls won’t be able to pass up the best point guard in the draft. Rose will be the pick and then Chicago will trade Kirk Hinrich.

2. Miami Heat – Michael Beasley
The Heat are hoping that Rose falls to them at two but that won’t happen. Beasley will be a very good consolation prize, however.

3. Minnesota Timberwolves – Brook Lopez
The Timberwolves need a center to put next to Al Jefferson. Brook Lopez will fit the bill with the third overall pick.

4. Seattle Supersonics – Jerryd Bayless
The Supersonics needed a point guard or a center in this draft. Bayless is the draft’s second best point guard and will be a good fit.

5. Memphis Grizzlies – Kevin Love
The Grizzlies need to replace Pau Gasol and reaching for Kevin Love is a very distinct possibility. This reach would likely prove to be a bust.

6. New York Knicks – OJ Mayo
The Knicks won’t players who can run and score. OJ Mayo can run and score as well or better than anyone in the draft.

7. Los Angeles Clippers – Eric Gordon
The Clippers need scorers and Gordon has proven he can score. There’s also a chance the Clippers could go for a point guard here.

8. Milwaukee Bucks – Joe Alexander
The Bucks need a small forward so much that they’ll likely reach to get Joe Alexander with the eighth overall pick.

9. Charlotte Bobcats – Russell Westbrook
The Bobcats haven’t been pleased with their point guard play in recent years. Russell Westbrook will come in and solve a lot of questions.

10. New Jersey Nets – Darrell Arthur
Darrell Arthur helped his stock after a very good showing in March Madness. He’ll be a good fit in the run and jump system in New Jersey.

11. Indiana Pacers – D.J. Augustin
The Pacers are yet another team that desperately needs a point guard and Augustin is the best point guard left on the board.

12. Sacramento Kings – Anthony Randolph
The Kings need a power forward and Randolph has all the tools to be a very good power forward on the NBA level.

13. Portland Trail Blazers – Danilo Gallinari
After the poor showing from international draft picks in recent years, Gallinari’s stock will fall. However, he could help his stock when working out with teams.

14. Golden State Warriors – Chase Budinger
The Warriors like skilled players who can do everything – and Budinger should fit right in with that philosophy.

1. Miami Heat – Derrick Rose
While Michael Beasley is a great prospect, the Heat desperately need a point guard to put next to Dwyane Wade. Derrick Rose would work perfectly with the Heat.

2. Seattle Supersonics – Michael Beasley
Michael Beasley, Kevin Durant and Jeff Green would give the Supersonics an amazing swingman rotation. That threesome would be able to grow up together and learn how to win.

3. Minnesota Timberwolves – Brook Lopez
Al Jefferson needs a bigman next to him to help take some of the pressure off of him. Brook Lopez would fit nicely beside Jefferson and give Minnesota a great one-two punch.

4. Memphis Grizzlies – Danilo Gallinari
The Grizzlies don’t need point guard help so they will instead reach for the best European player in the draft.

5. New York Knicks – OJ Mayo
OJ Mayo was born to be on the big stage. With the Knicks, Mayo could step in and become a scorer right away.

6. Los Angeles Clippers – Jerryd Bayless
With Shaun Livington’s future still in doubt and no other real point guard on the roster, Jerryd Bayless makes too much sense to pass up.

7. Milwaukee Bucks – Kevin Love
The Bucks need a power forward to help out Andrew Bogut. Kevin Love would fit nicely into that position and form a strong frontcourt for the Bucks.

8. Charlotte Bobcats – Eric Gordon
The Bobcats always seem to be on the lookout for scorers and Eric Gordon would definitely be another scorer for Charlotte.

9. Chicago Bulls – DeAndre Jordan
Chicago has a lot of talent on their roster but they still need a player with a lot of size and bulk. That’s where DeAndre Jordan would come in.

10. New Jersey Nets – Anthony Randolph
At number ten, the Nets would be getting very good value on Anthony Randolph. He’s definitely the best player available on the board at this point.
