Top Five Hottest Fantasy Shooting Guards

1) Josh Smith, Atlanta Hawks
Smith has been a flat out stud for the Hawks recently. His all-around game is better than ever recently. Not only is he scoring while racking up the blocks and steals, he has been great at getting assists lately. Right now, he might be the most impressive player in the entire fantasy world.
2) Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat
Everything and everyone around him seems to be sinking but Wade has been playing great lately. He seems to be fully recovered from his injuries and is dominating in nearly every aspect. The Heat may be a bad team right …read more

Top Five Hottest Fantasy Point Guards

1) Chauncey Billups, Detroit Pistons
Billups has been playing very well lately. He’s scoring well – mainly due to his high shooting percentages. His assists and rebounds are good and he’s not turning the ball over much. He’s had a very consistently solid fantasy season to date.
2) Steve Nash, Phoenix Suns
Nash has been a monster lately. He’s scoring and handing out assists at a very high rate. Nash is also shooting lights out while turning the ball over late. Nash’s best fantasy days this season seem to be ahead of him.
3) Baron Davis, Golden State …read more

Carl Landry, Houston Rockets
Landry has gotten some time lately with the Rockets and has showed the ability that could make him a solid power forward down the line. He’s very athletic and is aggressive around the basket. He still has a lot to learn but the upside is definitely there.
Acie Law, Atlanta Hawks
Law, like Landry, is a rookie. Law hasn’t shown much for the Hawks so far. His stats are underwhelming and he hasn’t gotten noticeably better since the season started. That said, the Hawks will continue to give him chances and he should see …read more

Five Coldest Fantasy Basketball Players

1) Jason Kidd, New Jersey Nets
Kidd has had a rough year shooting the ball, but recently he’s been struggling even more in that department. As a result, his scoring is dropping to dangerously low levels. He’s also rebounding less and turnover the ball over more than usual – which is obviously a bad combination. Kidd should bounce back but there’s a chance that age and being on a non-contending team could cause him to tailspin further.
2) Vince Carter, New Jersey Nets
Carter and Kidd are hurting each other’s stocks at this point. Carter is also shooting poorly, which is hurting Kidd’s …read more

Five Hottest Fantasy Basketball Players

1) Baron Davis, Golden State Warriors
Davis has been a fantasy workhorse lately. He’s doing it all – from scoring to assisting to rebounding to stealing. He’s even mixing in some blocked shots. If you have Davis on your team right now, you are definitely reaping the reward. Davis has been healthy this season and is having a career year.

2) Marcus Camby, Denver Nuggets
Camby, even though he has been in the league for a while, is having his best season. His scoring numbers won’t blow you away but his rebounding and blocks will. Camby can single-handedly win you those two categories. …read more

Top Ten Fantasy Basketball Players

I’ve crunched the numbers and over the last month, here are the top ten fantasy basketball players in the NBA:
10) Andrew Bynum, Los Angeles Lakers
Bynum has been a stud for the Lakers. He’s quickly becoming the second best player on the team and is showing huge potential. His fantasy numbers have been great as of late.
9) Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers’ superstar is getting it done, as well. Bryant’s scoring numbers aren’t as spectacular as they have been in the past, but he’s arguably a much better player now.
8) Jason Richardson, Charlotte Bobcats
Richardson has been a great addition to …read more

Joe Johnson, Atlanta Hawks
Johnson has been struggling recently for the Hawks. His jumper has been shaky and he’s been having trouble finishing around the rim. That said, there’s no reason to think he won’t be able to solve his issues. Johnson, when he’s on the top of his game, is a very nice fantasy player. He’s also a very durable player who rarely misses games.
Manu Ginobili, San Antonio Spurs
Ginobili’s numbers have dipped in recent weeks but there’s no reason not to value him highly at this point. All of Ginobili’s struggles can be traced back to his injured finger. Before …read more

Hottest Fantasy Basketball Players

1) Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Mavericks
Nowitzki started relatively slow this season. However, as of late, he’s been on fire. As of late, Nowitzki has even added shot blocking to the areas in which he can help your fantasy team. If you want to trade for Nowitzki, do it now before others realize how on fire he really is.

2) Chris Paul, New Orleans Hornets
This should be no surprise. Paul has been playing great all season. Recently he has struggled with his shot a bit, but even that has barely lessened his fantasy value. Paul has really separated himself as the best fantasy …read more

Waiver Wire Power Forwards

Nene, Denver Nuggets
Nene is returning from injury and has played well in his time back with the Nuggets. Always a huge talent, Nene used his time away to get into better shape. Although he has a lot of competition from quality bigs such as Kenyon Martin and Marcus Camby, Nene should be able to carve out a niche for himself in Denver.
Tyrus Thomas, Chicago Bulls
Thomas is a player who looks great one night and then disappears for a couple of weeks. For a fantasy team, that is very dangerous. But with a new coach in Chicago, Thomas might get a …read more

Fantasy Basketball – Who’s Cold

Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Mavericks
Nowitzki has been the ultimate streaky player as of late. In his last 11 games, he either has scored under 20 points or over 25 points. Lately, he’s been taking the under. The low point came Friday when Nowitzki had a season-low seven points against the New Orleans Hornets. The previous game, Nowitzki had only 13 points against the Raptors. He should be able to turn it around, but for a great scorer to be struggling so much there could be more wrong than just a cold streak.
Manu Ginobili, San Antonio Spurs
Ginobili has put together back-to-back horrible …read more
