Aaron Rodgers 2008 Fantasy Projections

With the news that Brett Favre is retiring, fantasy football owners across the world are scrambling to try to figure out what can be expected of Aaron Rogers, Favre’s backup at quarterback. Playing behind the most durable quarterback of all-time, Rogers hasn’t seen much time in his three seasons in the NFL.

Through the next few days, I will do a series abou tthe underrated fantasy players as we look ahead to next fantasy football season. Let’s start out with the quarterbacks.

2008 NFL Draft – Quarterback Sleepers

1. Joe Flacco, Delaware
Flacco didn’t get much publicity while he was in college but he has been impressing scouts so far leading up to the draft. At 6-foot-6, Flacco has good size and is mobile enough to make it in the NFL.
2. John David Booty, USC
While Booty had an up-and-down career at USC, the he definitely has talent. With USC running a pro offense, he’s ahead of the game in that regard. Look for a team to take him in a middle round of the draft.

2008 Fantasy Football Draft – Quarterbacks

How are the best quarterbacks heading into the 2008 fantasy football season? Here’s a list of the top ten.
1) Tom Brady, New England Patriots
No surprise here. Brady will be coming off perhaps the best season for a quarterback in NFL history.
2) Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts
Manning is always a safe pick. He’s a fantastic talent who will always produce for you – year in and year out.
3) Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
