Donte Stallworth Suspension – Fantasy View

Donte Stallworth of the Cleveland Browns has been suspended indefinitely by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Stallworth, who recently plead guilty to DUI manslaughter in which a pedestrian was killed by a car Stallworth was driving, also won’t get paid during his suspension.
In the fantasy football world, this makes Stallworth completely valueless. He had minimal value prior to this incident but now there’s no situation in which he should be selected in a 2009 fantasy football draft.

Jevon Kearse DUI – Fantasy Football Impact

Jevon Kearse of the Tennessee Titans was pulled over by Vanderbilt University police and was arrested for DUI after opting not to take a breathalyzer test. Kearse was eventually released on $1,000 bond.
Kearse is back with the Titans after spending four years with the Philadelphia Eagles. He spent the first five years of his career with the Titans.

David Jacobs, a convicted steroids dealer, was found dead. Jacobs was found in his home in Texas. Also found dead was Amanda Jo Earhart-Savell, who is rumored to be Jacobs girlfriend.

Pacman Jones Meets Roger Goodell – Fantasy Impact

Pacman Jones recently met with Roger Goodell to discuss the possibility of Jones being reinstated. Jones was suspended from the NFL for multiple brushes with the law.
While there is no guarantee that Jones will be reinstated, sources around Jones are hopeful. The Dallas Cowboys, the team who traded with the Tennessee Titans to acquire his rights, are also hopeful that Jones will be reinstated for the 2008 NFL season.

Matt Walsh showed his video tapes to the NFL and it appears that nothing too out of the ordinary was found. Roger Goodell has all but said that the Spygate investigation is over. If that’s true, that is the best possible news for the Patriots.
