QB Jake Delhomme, Carolina Panthers
After playing great to begin the season, Delhomme got hurt in the season’s third game against the Atlanta Falcons. Delhomme’s elbow injury eventually required surgery and he was out for the rest of the year. Although the sample size was small, his production in 2007 was great. If being winless wasn’t bad enough, the Miami Dolphins have apparently lost their only bright spot. It is being reported by the Miami Herald that Ronnie Brown is done for the season with a knee injury.
The paper, which cites two unnamed sources, is reporting that the MRI of Brown’s knee revealed enough damage that he will be out for the rest of the year.
