Buy Low Week 5 – Fantasy Football 2008

QB Marc Bulger, St. Louis Rams
The Rams have switched coaches and Marc Bulger is now back in as the starting quarterback. While he’s had a horrible fantasy season so far, he has the weapons to turn it around quickly.
RB Ryan Grant, Green Bay Packers
Slowed by injuries early on, Ryan Grant has been a bust so far in the 2008 fantasy football season. But his schedule gets easier and he seems to be healthy, so he should become halfway decent soon.
WR Randy Moss, New England Patriots
Many fantasy owners have written off Randy Moss after the loss of Tom Brady. While his …read more

Running Back Fantasy Sleepers in 2008

Ryan Grant, Green Bay Packers – Grant had a very good 2007 season but many are undervaluing him heading into 2008. Can he keep it up? Grant showed no signs of slowing up so he should be a good bet to be very good once again in 2008.
Jonathan Stewart, Carolina Panthers – DeAngelo Williams is too small to carry the load. Enter Jonathan Stewart. He’s built strongly enough to carry the load and should also get the goal-line carries in what could be a very good offense.

Brandon Jacobs, New York Giants – When healthy, Jacobs should …read more

Making a Name in the Playoffs

Nothing like a big stage like the playoffs to show off what you can do to the people who will be looking for next year’s next big thing.
By Guest Blogger, Ron Bishow
The playoffs may not have any direct fantasy implications, but it can be a very telling time when looking for players who might be worth drafting next season.
When you get into crunch time coaches only go to the guys they really have faith in, and quarterbacks only throw to players they have total faith in. It is one thing to go with a guy during the regular …read more

Playoff Fantasy Football: NFC Championship Studs

QB Brett Favre, Green Bay Packers
With Favre playing a home game for a chance to make the Super Bowl, how could you not love to have him on your fantasy football team? He played very well last week against the Seattle Seahawks, as he lead a barrage of scoring drives to dig his team out of an early hole. Expect Favre to be slinging it around the field and finish with at least a pair of touchdowns to his name.

Week 11: Fantasy Football Injury Report

QB Donovan McNabb, Philadelphia Eagles – McNabb suffered a sprained ankle in the first half against the Miami Dolphins. McNabb wasn’t able to return but the Eagles went on to win without his services. Andy Reid said after the game that McNabb would remain the starter if he’s healthy enough to play in Week 12. McNabb has a history of playing with injuries but keep an eye on whether he practices this week.
RB Brandon Jacobs, New York Giants – Jacobs has been a beast since he returned from his knee injury earlier in the season. However, against the Detroit Lions, …read more

Week 9: Running Back Waiver Wire Gems

RB Adimchinobi Echemandu, Houston Texans – With Ahman Green hobbled and Ron Dayne also banged up, Echemandu is a solid pickup. He could conceivably get the starting spot for the Texans in the near future. And if he does, he’s a good fantasy player going forward. He runs hard and should be able to rack up yardage as a starter.
RB Ryan Grant, Green Bay Packers – In the merry-go-round that is the Packers running back corps, Grant appears to be the current leader. He played well on Monday Night Football and heads into Week 9 as the likely starter. With …read more
