One of the hottest trade rumors in the NFL has Rage Rosenfels, the backup quarterback for the Houston Texans, being traded to the Minnesota Vikings for a fourth round pick. In Houston, Rosenfels is currently behind Matt Schaub on the depth charts.
If Minnesota successful trades for the quarterback, he becomes a candidate to become the teams starter at QB. Currently, the Vikings have Tarvaris Jackson and Gus Frerotte at the position. Although Jackson has shown some promise, he’s still extremely raw. Frerotte, on the other hand, has seen his best days.
