Shaun Hill is now the starting quarterback in San Francisco and makes for a very fine Week 9 Waiver Wire pickup. With Mike Martz still with the 49ers, you can expect the team to throw the ball a lot. Hill was somewhat effective last season and has a chance to become a decent backup for the rest of the fantasy football season.

Ernest Wilford 2008 Fantasy Projections

After beginning his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Ernest Wilford is headed to the Miami Dolphins. Wilford, a big wide receiver who has had a couple of great games on the NFL level, was one of the first signings made by new man in charge Bill Parcells.
Although it hasn’t been made official yet, Wilford is expected to start next to Ted Ginn, Jr., who will be going into his second season. Wilford will be a good complement to Ginn since Ginn is a speedster while Wilford is more of a possession receiver.
