As 2007 winds down, let’s take a look at a few basketball players that I expect to breakout in 2008.
Sean Williams, New Jersey Nets
As long as Jason Kidd is still with the Nets, Williams should be able to develop into the best bigman on the Nets.
Derrick Rose, University of Memphis
Rose is a true point guard prospect who should be a top pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. He’s also a very explosive athlete.
David Lee, New York Knicks
The only thing stopping Lee from being a double-double machine is playing time. Expect him to find playing time sometime in 2008.

Top 10 Fantasy Center Prospects

In fantasy basketball, it’s always a good idea to lockup a quality center relatively early in your draft. Each year, there is a shortage of centers and this year is no different. Here’s a look at the top ten fantasy centers for the 2007-08 NBA season as it currently stands:
1) Amare Stoudemire, Phoenix Suns
Stoudemire was back to his old tricks last year with the Suns. After microfracture surgery stalled his 2005-06 campaign, he had a great bounce back performance last season. He’s only going to get better as he gets even healthier on that knee.
