How are the best quarterbacks heading into the 2008 fantasy football season? Here’s a list of the top ten.
1) Tom Brady, New England Patriots
No surprise here. Brady will be coming off perhaps the best season for a quarterback in NFL history.
2) Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts
Manning is always a safe pick. He’s a fantastic talent who will always produce for you – year in and year out.
3) Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
With Jason Garrett and Terrell Owens coming back, Romo should have another big season in 2008.

1) Tom Brady, New England Patriots
No surprise here. Brady will be coming off perhaps the best season for a quarterback in NFL history.

2) Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts
Manning is always a safe pick. He’s a fantastic talent who will always produce for you – year in and year out.

3) Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
With Jason Garrett and Terrell Owens coming back, Romo should have another big season in 2008.

4) Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
Brees had a slow start to his 2007 season but ended on a hot streak. Expect big things for Brees next season.

5) Carson Palmer, Cincinnati Bengals
Palmer had an off year but he has tons of talent at wide receiver and has a great arm. Expect a much improved 2008.

6) Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
Roethlisberger had a great season but his wide receivers aren’t especially talented and the Steelers will always run first.

7) Derek Anderson, Cleveland Browns
Anderson should once again start for the Browns and has a chance to become a star in coming seasons.

8) Matt Hasselbeck, Seattle Seahawks
Hasselbeck will once again quarterback a team that will rely heavily on his ability to move the ball.

9) David Garrard, Jacksonville Jaguars
Garrard got better and better in his first full year as a starter. He takes care of the ball and can consistently score for you.

10) Brett Favre, Green Bay Packers
The only thing keeping Favre from being higher on the list is his age. If he were five years younger, he’d be in the top five.

With the NFL entering its 10th week, the quarterback rankings are finally starting to become clear. Here is a look at the top ten fantasy quarterbacks that you’d want on your team from now until the end of the season:

Is this even a question? Brady is playing better than any quarterback has played in NFL history. He’s on pace to shatter all types of records and he’s definitely a player you want on your fantasy team.

1) Tom Brady, New England Patriots
Is this even a question? Brady is playing better than any quarterback has played in NFL history. He’s on pace to shatter all types of records and he’s definitely a player you want on your fantasy team.

2) Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts
Manning was the preseason number one quarterback around the fantasy football world. While he’s nowhere near as valuable as Brady is right now, Manning is a very safe play week in and week out.

3) Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
Romo has had a very strong season. He has great weapons on offense, specifically Terrell Owens and Jason Witten. He had a couple rough games but has bounced back brilliantly as of late.

4) Carson Palmer, Cincinnati Bengals
Palmer has had a disappointing season so far this year but he’s still highly valuable. He has his third wide receiver coming back this week in Chris Henry and his schedule gets very easy soon. He’s a good player to go to fantasy war with right now.

5) Derek Anderson, Cleveland Browns
Anderson has come out of nowhere to be a great fantasy player this season. If you were lucky enough to pick him up, you are no doubt riding his fantasy wave. While he’s not better than the players above him in this list, he’s as explosive as anyone south of Brady.

6) Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
Brees was horrible to begin the season. He started the year with one touchdown and nine interceptions. Since that point, however, he’s been very good. Right now, he’s hot and should continue to become a better and better option as the year progresses.

7) Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
Big Ben has had a nice fantasy season with his latest game against the Ravens being a nice exclamation point. He had five first half touchdowns and looked better than ever. The only downside you have here is the run-first offense of the Steelers.

8) Matt Hasselbeck, Seattle Seahawks
With Shaun Alexander looking like the worst running back in the NFL, that in theory gives Hasselbeck even more opportunities for touchdowns down the stretch of the season. His wide receivers are getting healthy and he could be in line for a big finish.

9) Brett Favre, Green Bay Packers
It’s tough to ignore what Favre is doing. He’s having a better fantasy season than anyone could have imagined. His schedule is pretty easy down the stretch run so he should be able to continue at his current level.

10) Donovan McNabb, Philadelphia Eagles
While McNabb has had a relatively ugly fantasy season, he’s still a pretty good quarterback to be leading your team. When you start him, you know that he’s going to get a chance to throw a lot of passes. There’s a possibility that McNabb could get going and become an elite QB down the stretch run of the season.
