Emeka Okafor Trade? Fantasy Analysis

According to multiple rumors, the Charlotte Bobcats and the New Orleans Hornets are discussing a deal that would swap centers Emeka Okafor and Tyson Chandler. While the deal isn’t done yet, sources indicate that the two teams have been talking for at least a few days about such a move.
For fantasy basketball purposes, this would be very good news for Emeka Okafor. While he seems to have hit a production ceiling with the Bobcats, he could become a much more efficient player if put next to Chris Paul. As we’ve seen with Chandler, Paul is very good at setting up …read more

Tyson Chandler and David West Injury Updates

Tyson Chandler of the New Orleans Hornets left Game 5 in the fourth quarter and didn’t return. The Hornets had a big lead on the San Antonio Spurs and didn’t need the services of their up-and-coming center. Reports indicate that if needed, Chandler should have been able to return.
Chandler is dealing with a mildly sprained toe but will be able to play in Game 6. The Hornets, who lead the defending champion Spurs 3-2 in their best out of seven series, will look to eliminate the Spurs in San Antonio on Thursday. The Spurs, on the …read more

Dennis Rodman Arrested – Best Rebounders?

Dennis Rodman Arrested – Best Rebounders?

With the news that Dennis Rodman was arrested once again, now is as good a time as any to look at who the best rebounders were in the 2007-08 season. While none of them rebounded at a Dennis Rodman rate, they weren’t shabby in their own right.

1. Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic
With an average of 14.2 rebounds per game, Dwight Howard was far and away the best rebounder in the NBA. At 22, Howard’s rebounding numbers should continue to rise over the next few years.
2. Marcus Camby, Denver Nuggets
Not only does Marcus Camby block shots, he’s an elite rebounder. …read more
