Channing Frye to the Suns – Fantasy View

Channing Frye has reportedly agreed to join the Phoenix Suns after agreeing to a two-year deal worth about $4 million. It will be a homecoming of sorts since Frye went to the University of Arizona.
Frye has been an interesting case so far in his NBA career. In his rookie season, the 8th overall pick of the 2005 draft was very good. He averaged 12.3 points and 5.7 rebounds in only 24.2 minutes per game.

Jerryd Bayless had a great freshman season at the University of Arizona and is currently viewed as a lock for a top five pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. Bayless isn’t a flawless prospect but he has high potential and his skills are advanced for his age.
Bayless, who stands around 6-foot-3, is a combo guard who will likely play more point guard than shooting guard in the NBA. He’s not a true point guard but by all accounts he has the work ethic and the skills to make the transition to point guard.
