Bears Cedric Benson Arrested Again – Fantasy Impact

Cedric Benson of the Chicago Bears was arrested again. He was charged with drunken driving in Austin, Texas. In May, Benson was arrested while driving a boat after failing a sobriety test.
These two incidents surely won’t help his cause with the NFL or the Bears. With Roger Goodell handing out harsher punishments than past commissioners, this second arrest promises to result in some sort of suspension. A suspension will obviously lower Benson’s value in fantasy football.

When looking for Limas Sweed stats, it’s best to look at the jumpers he put up as a junior. Sweed’s senior season was shortened due to an injury the forced him to miss the last seven games of Texas’ season. As a junior, Sweed’s stats are quite impressive. He had 12 touchdowns on 46 catches. He also had over 800 yards that season.

As a junior in 2007, Jamaal Charles got his first chance to carry the load. On the whole, he played very well. He finished the season with 1,619 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns. His 6.3 yards per carry is an impressive number. In the Holiday Bowl, Charles had 161 yards and two touchdowns in his last game for the University of Texas.
