Wandy Rodriguez Suffers Pulled Hamstring

Wandy Rodriguez, the starting pitcher for the Houston Astros, pulled his hamstring during his start on Saturday. As a result, he had to leave the game after pitching four innings.
The good news for the Astros and fantasy owners is that Rodriguez doesn’t believe he’ll be forced to miss a start. That said, stay tuned to make sure that doesn’t change tomorrow morning once he feels the full effect of the injury.

Having a group of quality starting pitchers is a very powerful tool for a fantasy baseball owners. Early on in the 2009 fantasy baseball season, there are a handful of starting pitchers who are heads and pitching arms ahead of the rest.
