Over the years, Ben Roethlisberger has been an inconsistent fantasy quarterback. But in Week 6, Big Ben has a home game against the Cleveland Browns. Expect a pair of TDs out of Roethlisberger.

6. Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
Over the years, Ben Roethlisberger has been an inconsistent fantasy quarterback. But in Week 6, Big Ben has a home game against the Cleveland Browns. Expect a pair of TDs out of Roethlisberger.

5. Matt Schaub, Houston Texans
Since Week 1, Matt Schaub has been very good. This week he goes up against the Cincinnati Bengals. While the Bengals aren’t horrible, Schaub should produce.

4. Donovan McNabb, Philadelphia Eagles
We saw what Donovan McNabb is capable of last week after coming off of injury. In Week 6 against the Oakland Raiders, McNabb will be good.

Donovan McNabb - Philadelphia Eagles (Image: Zuma Press)

3. Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
Even though the Saints are going against the rugged New York Giants, you have to think that Drew Brees will come ready to play.

2. Tom Brady, New England Patriots
Tom Brady has basically been a disappointment this season. That said, don’t expect him to be disappointing against the Tennessee Titans.

1. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers has been deceptively very good this year. Add in the fact that he’s going up against the Detroit Lions and there should be fireworks for Rodgers in Week 6 of the 2009 fantasy football season.

Last week, Marc Bulger looked solid in limited action. In Week 6, he’s going against the inept defense of the Jaguars. Expect a good outing from Bulger.

RB Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Chiefs
One of these weeks, Jamaal Charles is going to leapfrog the struggling Larry Johnson. Going against the Redskins in Week 6, Charles should be able to produce — if given the chance.

WR Mohamed Massaquoi, Cleveland Browns
Don’t give up on Mohamed Massaquoi just yet. With Braylon Edwards out of town, Massaquoi could very well be the Browns top receiving option. Even though he had only one catch last week, he could still become a fantasy football starter.

TE Jermichael Finley, Green Bay Packers
The last we saw of Jermichael Finley, he was tearing it up. After the bye week, the Packers could very well look for him even more. Going up against the Lions, start him with confidence.

QB Matt Hasselbeck, Seattle Seahawks
After Matt Hasselbeck suffered a rib injury a few weeks ago, many fantasy owners left him for dead. However, he had four touchdowns this week and is definitely worthy of a roster spot. Grab him!

RB Sammy Morris, New England Patriots
With Fred Taylor sidelined following ankle surgery, Sammy Morris has emerged as the running back to own on the Patriots. He’s getting carries and catches out of the backfield.

WR Miles Austin, Dallas Cowboys
Miles Austin had a game to remember — 250 receiving yards and two touchdowns. With the passing game struggling, the Cowboys may look to Austin more and more starting in Week 6.

TE Visanthe Shiancoe, Minnesota Vikings
Quietly, Visanthe Shiancoe now has three touchdowns this season. This week, he played arguably his best game of the season. Pick him up off the waiver wire if he is available.

QB Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
Although the Cowboys had a tough loss against the Arizona Cardinals, quarterback Tony Romo had a good day fantasy football wise. He had 321 yards and three touchdowns, including a late 70-yard connection with running back Marion Barber III.
RB Maurice Jones-Drew, Jacksonville Jaguars
Early in the game, Fred Taylor got shaken up and ended up missing most of the contest. Maurice Jones-Drew stepped in and filled in admirably, as he finished with 148 yards and two touchdowns. When given a healthy amount of touches, Jones-Drew is as deadly as any fantasy running back in the NFL.

WR Andre Johnson, Houston Texans
Andre Johnson is separating himself as one of the best wide receivers in the fantasy world. After a breakout game in Week 5, he backed that up with another great showing in Week 6. Johnson finished the game with 178 yards and a touchdown.

TE Marcedes Lewis, Jacksonville Jaguars
Even though Marcedes Lewis has had a very quiet season to date, many scouts continue to think he is a vastly talented tight end. He showed some of his potential in Week 6 with his 64 yards and a touchdown for the Jaguars.

K Jason Elam, Atlanta Falcons
When Jason Elam left the Denver Broncos for the Falcons, many fantasy football owners thought he’d be in for a tough 2008 campaign. However, Elam has been very good so far this year. In Week 6, he had five field goals including the game winner against the Chicago Bears.

QB Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
Going up against the Oakland Raiders, Drew Brees should have a good game in Week 6. You can expect him to be pass happy and he will likely finish with at least two touchdowns. He looks even like a better start with Marques Colston and Jeremy Shockey possibly returning.
RB Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings
Coming into the season, many fantasy football owners thought Adrian Peterson would be the best running back of 2008. Coming into the season, many fantasy football owners thought Adrian Peterson would be the best running back of 2008. Although he hasn’t been dominant all season, he’s starting to elevate his game. Going forward, it appears as if Peterson is the best RB to have on your fantasy roster.

WR Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals
With the Dallas Cowboys’ secondary far from 100%, the Cardinals should be able to get things done through the air. Larry Fitzgerald should be the leading recipient and could have a huge Week 6. Fitzgerald has always been a long ball threat but he’s now even dominating as a possession receiver.

TE Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
Each and every week, Jason Witten is seemingly the best tight end play. Again in Week 6, there’s no one better to have on your side. Tony Romo should look for Witten early and often against the Cardinals.
