Yi Jianlian Injury Update

Yi Jianlian, a rookie forward with the Milwaukee Bucks, has seen his last minutes of the 2007-2008 NBA season. The rookie out of China sprained his MCL and will miss the rest of the season.
The good news for Yi is that the injury isn’t considered serious and he’ll be fine for both the upcoming Olympics and next year’s NBA season. With the Olympics to be held in Beijing, China, it would have been a crushing blow for Yi if he were forced to miss out.
While Yi fizzled down the stretch of the NBA season, he showed good promise early on. …read more

Luis Scola, Houston Rockets
Now that he’s in the starting lineup, there’s no reason why Luis Scola can’t be the best rookie power forward in the NBA. He’s experienced, smart and plays in a system conducive to his strengths. He should eventually become a player who can average around 12 and 8 on the NBA level.
