Team USA, led by Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, will try to reclaim the gold for the United States. The Redeem Team, as it has been called, went undefeated in exhibition play and will begin the opening games August 10th against China.
While Team USA is the overwhelming favorite, it is not beyond the realm of possibilities that they can be beat. In their last exhibition game, Team USA struggled at times against the lowly regarded Australian team.
Who could beat Team USA? The two teams most likely to accomplish that feat are Spain and Argentina. Spain is the reigning World Champions while Argentina is the reigning Olympic gold medalists.
Here is the full schedule for Team USA during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing:
USA versus China – August 10th (10:15 a.m. ET)
USA versus Angola – August 12th (8 a.m. ET)
USA versus Greece – August 14th (8 a.m. ET)
USA versus Spain – August 16th (10:15 a.m. ET)
USA versus Germany – August 18th (8 a.m. ET)
Quarterfinals – August 20
Semi-Finals – August 22
Finals – August 24

The schedule for the Team USA Basketball games are too early for California fans to watch. It would have been helpful to re-play the games in the afternoons or evenings. Hopefully, the final game will be scheduled “Prime Time” so we can all watch it “LIVE”!
on the other hand, better usa have the advantage of playing later in the evening local time. :) atleast us in europe can watch at a decent time.
REGARDING TEAM USA GAME SCHEDULE, I MISSED MOST OF THIER GAMES DUE TO THE TIME SCHEDULED.
