The Best Three-Point Shooters in the NBA

Three pointers made is usually a very important stat in fantasy basketball. With that in mind, here’s a look at the best three-point shooters in the NBA by position.

C Al Harrington, Golden State Warriors
Fitting perfectly into Don Nelson’s offense, Al Harrington can play center and can also drain the outside shot. For big immobile centers, Harrington is a matchup nightmare. As gets morn comfortable in Nelson’s system, Harrington should continue to get better and better.

PF Rashard Lewis, Orlando Magic
With Hedo Turkoglu staring at small forward, Rashard Lewis has spent a majority of the season at power forward. Lewis was signed to a mega contract in the offseason and has helped the Magic become one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference. Although he hasn’t been dominant this year, Lewis has been a marksman from deep.

SF Peja Stojakovic, New Orleans Hornets
When Chris Paul is looking for an open shooter, the one he hopes to find wide open is Peja Stojakovic. Stojakovic has long been one of the best shooters in the NBA. This season, he’s currently leading the NBA in three-pointers made per game. That alone has made him a valuable commodity in the fantasy world.

SG Jason Richardson, Charlotte Bobcats
Coming over from the Golden State Warriors in a trade, Jason Richardson has lived up to expectations. He’s arguably having his best season to date in his career and a lot of the damage he’s doing is from the perimeter. In college at Michigan State, a lot of people questioned his outside shooting. Nobody questions that anymore.

PG Baron Davis, Golden State Warriors
When Baron Davis wants to shoot a three-pointer, he’s going to find a way to get an open look. The Dallas Mavericks are still having nightmares from last year in the playoffs when Davis killed them with his outside shooting stroke. This season, Davis is having a great season and is shooting it well from beyond the arc.

The best 3 point shooter is Larry Bird. If you looked at his statistics then you would see why he is the best three-point shooter. I mean c’mon, Baron Davis and Jason Richardson!?!?! Pathetic excuses.

    • Daniel says:

Wow Larry Bird IS the best at 2008??? He still plays?! WOW that’s amazing!! Maybe he WAS the best, but this list is a well thought out one…. How is Jason Richardson a pathetics excuse?! He has a .369 3PT FG% for his CAREER and a .5 3PT FG% for the 09-10 season!!!! He’s a clutch ass player and EASILY one of the best 3 point shooters…. Ha i hate truly ignorant people who can be referred to as “echoes.”

    to killerasengan:
i think rodney stuckey is starting to get the attention he deserves, now that billups has gone

  8. Ryan says:

to killerasengan: You are right about Aaron Brooks. He is awesome. Loved watchin him at Oregon, and I was frustrated that Luis Scola got to play 2 times the minutes Brooks got to play when they were both rookies. Aaron Brooks is a BEAST!

  9. Snteeters says:

Dude, killerasengan, I have no clue as to where you are getting some of these predictions but as for the “I am never wrong” you are extremely contradictory because that’s completely wrong. Booby Gibson is not underrated, he isn’t rated, he’s not that good. He’s a POINT guard that never assists and averages about 8 points in 30 minutes of game play behind Mo williams who is 5x what booby is. and Kevin Garnett easily has one of the prettiest jumpers in basketball and is painfully dominating on defense (not to mention that championship he just won, and will again this year). I think the hornets will make it to the conference finals and i think it’ll be lakers celtics again but what you showed there is also a very likely situation. and no, there is no way in hell Lebron stays in cleveland. he’s just like Eli manning, he wants to be the superstar hero of New York and is going to have his way.

  10. Snteeters says:

oh and on my underrated list I’d put down Rudy Fernandez. He’s getting some credit and some talk these days, and I know he’s just a rookie so it’s hard to say he’s being disrespected or whatnot but the guy can straight up ball and is gonna get a lot better too.

  11. Matt says:

MICHAEL REDD and RAY ALLEN are best 3 point shooters dumbass and celtics are going to win it again>>>> REPEAT

  12. James says:

    what aabout chris mullin
