Top Five Fantasy Centers

1) Amare Stoudemire, Phoenix Suns
Stoudemire is getting healthier and healthier as the season progresses and he’s starting to play really well. He should become more valuable as the season goes along and his knees get stronger. If he’s on your fantasy team, you have to be happy with his prospects.

2) Marcus Camby, Denver Nuggets
Camby is having another great season. He hasn’t had any major injuries worries this season and seems to be playing as well as ever. If he stays healthy, he’d definitely be one of the best fantasy players in all of the NBA. His rebounding and blocks are outstanding.

3) Yao Ming, Houston Rockets
The Rockets are still gelling, yet Yao is playing very well. He’s highly skilled and once he adjusts more to his new coach and new teammates, his numbers are going to improve. Even if his number don’t improve, his stats are quite nice how it is.

4) Chris Kaman, Los Angeles Clippers
With Elton Brand sidelined, Kaman has picked up much of the slack. He’s having by far the best season of his NBA career. The question is whether he can keep it up when Brand is ready to return to the court. If you don’t think he can, you may consider trading him

5) Dwight Howard, Orlando
While Howard has been a stud in real life, in fantasy he hasn’t been quite as dominant. With his low free throw percentage and his high turnover rate, he can really hurt a fantasy team in those two areas. That said, he’s a beast and one of the best young players in the game.
