Donnie Avery Injury Update – Fantasy Impact

A number of fantasy football owners had their hearts broken when it was announced that St. Louis Rams wide receiver Donnie Avery will be out for at least a month with a foot injury. Avery, who is entering his second year in the NFL, is a player who thought could explode onto the scene this year.

Willie Parker Injury Update – Fantasy View

Willie Parker, the starting running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, reportedly missed a recent practice due to back spasms. Although the Steelers don’t think the injury is serious, they decided to be cautious about the situation.
In fantasy football, Willie Parker’s value seems to be on the decline. Last year, Parker only had a decent season. He rushed for 791 yards and five touchdowns in 11 games. Those of us obsessed with fantasy football now have some tangible information to start studying. On Tuesday, the league released the 2009 NFL schedules for each team.
While it’s a lot of information to digest at once, one team that looks to have a friendly fantasy football schedule is the Arizona Cardinals.
