QB Alex Smith, San Francisco 49ers
Alex Smith continues to be overlooked despite being pretty darn effective in his starts. Take out his goose egg against the Bears in a shortened week and Smith has 11 touchdown passes in five weeks. This week against the Seahawks should translate to at least a couple more touchdowns.

RB Jerious Norwood, Atlanta Falcons
With Michael Turner nursing an ankle injury, Jerious Norwood may finally get his time to shine. He appears to be ahead of Jason Snelling on the depth chart and his career numbers indicate he can gain yards in a hurry.

WR Robert Meachem, New Orleans Saints
For a wide receiver who has five touchdowns in the last four weeks, Robert Meachem receives an amazingly low amount of respect in fantasy football. It’s time to put him in starting lineups, sit back and enjoy.

TE Dante Rosario, Carolina Panthers
In the last two weeks, Dante Rosario has had over 100 yards receiving on eight catches. Against the Bucs and with Jake Delhomme banged up, Rosario could see the ball a ton.

Bryant didn’t even make the trip to Miami so he’s definitely out for the game. Stylez G. White also failed to make the trip.

If you are looking for a fantasy football sleeper who may emerge due to the Antonio Bryant injury, consider Sammie Stroughter. Stroughter leads the Bucs wide receivers in catches and is coming off a game in which he had three receptions and a touchdown. In his last four outings, Stroughter has three catches in each game.

Starting his second game at quarterback will be rookie Josh Freeman. In his NFL debut, Freeman dazzled while leading Tampa Bay to their first win of the season. Along the way, he passed for three touchdowns.

As far as Bryant is concerned, it may be time to throw him on the waiver wire. He’s injured and he’s on a bad team — which is a bad combination for fantasy football.

QB Chad Henne, Miami Dolphins
In recent weeks, Chad Henne has been quiet. However, he has faced tough opponents during that time frame. In Week 10, he’ll have a much easier go of it versus the Bucs.

RB Kolby Smith, Kansas City Chiefs
With Larry Johnson out of the picture, everyone is looking at Jamaal Charles. But those who watched closely last week saw that Kolby Smith could very well have a 50/50 split with Charles the rest of the way. Smith versus the Raiders this week could very well result in a TD.

WR Pierre Garcon, Indianapolis Colts
Pierre Garcon doesn’t have a touchdown since Week 3 but he could come up big this weekend against the Patriots. Anthony Gonzalez is still out and Austin Collie is banged up. That will lead to opportunities for Garcon.

TE Bo Scaife, Tennessee Titans
With Vince Young back in the helm for the Titans, it’s time to remember about Bo Scaife. Young likes throwing to Scaife and we could see a lot of that in Week 10 against the Bills.

It looks more and more like Kerry Collins will be out as the Titans starter. If that’s the case, Vince Young may help revive the passing game. As a result, Kenny Britt would then become a lot more valuable.

TE Fred Davis, Washington Redskins
With Chris Cooley an injury question mark, Fred Davis sees his value skyrocket. The Redskins love passing to the tight end and Davis is an adequate receiving threat.

QB Shaun Hill, San Francisco 49ers
With Frank Gore back in the lineup, Shaun Hill should have more room to operate. He’s not going to have a huge game but two touchdown passes wouldn’t be surprising at all.

RB Mike Bell, New Orleans Saints
Don’t look now but Mike Bell seems to be a big part of the Saints attack. While Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush get the most attention at running back, Bell will likely get his share of touches going forward.

WR Mike Wallace, Pittsburgh Steelers
It’s likely that the Steelers will have to throw the ball quite a bit against the Vikings. If that happens, Mike Wallace has a very good chance of putting up starter-quality numbers.

TE Dustin Keller, New York Jets
Dustin Keller has been quiet for the last few weeks. However, Week 7 brings upon the Raiders — which is a cure for all fantasy ailments.

Last week, Marc Bulger looked solid in limited action. In Week 6, he’s going against the inept defense of the Jaguars. Expect a good outing from Bulger.

One of these weeks, Jamaal Charles is going to leapfrog the struggling Larry Johnson. Going against the Redskins in Week 6, Charles should be able to produce — if given the chance.

Don’t give up on Mohamed Massaquoi just yet. With Braylon Edwards out of town, Massaquoi could very well be the Browns top receiving option. Even though he had only one catch last week, he could still become a fantasy football starter.

TE Jermichael Finley, Green Bay Packers
The last we saw of Jermichael Finley, he was tearing it up. After the bye week, the Packers could very well look for him even more. Going up against the Lions, start him with confidence.

If Matt Hasselbeck misses another week due to injury, don’t be afraid to start Seneca Wallace. He’s at home going up against a struggling Jaguars defense. Wallace should be good enough to help your fantasy team win.

RB Mewelde Moore, Pittsburgh Steelers
It sounds like Willie Parker will miss another week due to turf toe. If that’s the case, Mewelde Moore should see enough touches to be a filler fantasy running back. Rashard Mendenhall will get the start but Moore will definitely be part of the attack against the Lions.

WR Sidney Rice, Minnesota Vikings
Brett Favre is starting to look deep and not simply rely on the short pass. That is great news for Sidney Rice. Going against the Rams, Rice has a chance to break a few long playofs.

TE Bo Scaife, Tennessee Titans
Bo Scaife is healthy once again and he should be a solid play in Week 5 of the fantasy football season. The Titans will likely get into a shootout with the Colts and Kerry Collins should target Scaife plenty.

With TJ Houshmandzadeh no longer with the Cincinnati Bengals, Carson Palmer has been looking for a new possession receiver. He might have found one in Andre Caldwell. The speedy Caldwell is a solid play this week.

TE Daniel Fells, St. Louis Rams
After Kyle Boller entered the game at quarterback in Week 3, tight end Daniel Fells caught two touchdown passes. If Boller starts in Week 4, will he keep looking at Fells? He just might.

QB Byron Leftwich, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Although not exactly thought of as a quality fantasy football starter, Leftwich has a lot going for him this week. He’s playing at home against a banged up New York Giants defense and he’s coming off of a big week. Roll the dice if you are feeling lucky.

RB Chris Wells, Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals are going against the Indianapolis Colts — the team that just got ran over by Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. Wells, even though he’ll be playing behind Tim Hightower, could be productive in Week 3.

WR Miles Austin, Dallas Cowboys
The Carolina Panthers have struggled on defense this season — especially against speed. Miles Austin can run and he could have a big day against the lumbering Panthers D.

TE Vernon Davis, San Francisco 49ers
Going against the Minnesota Vikings, the Niners probably won’t have much success running the ball. If that’s the case, expect Vernon Davis to get plenty of looks from quarterback Shaun Hill.

QB Derek Anderson, Cleveland Browns
Starter Brady Quinn doesn’t have too tight of a grip on the starting quarterback job in Cleveland. If he doesn’t start playing better, Derek Anderson will get the job. And as we saw a couple of seasons ago, Anderson is definitely capable of being a fantasy beast.

WR Johnny Knox, Chicago Bears
This rookie is really looking good for the Bears. While it is difficult to imagine him keeping up this pace, he has a chance of ending up as the best receiver on the Bears.

RB Justin Forsett, Seattle Seahawks
Although he’s small and although there is a lot of competition in Seattle, Justin Forsett is making enough noise to take notice. He’s a do-it-all RB who could find himself playing a larger role if the running backs above him don’t start producing on a consistent basis.

TE Jerramy Stevens, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Jerramy Stevens has looked good and he has the talent to be a producer in fantasy football. If the Bucs keep passing it a lot, consider Stevens as a quality filler.
