Brandon Jacobs Flattens Laron Landry – Video

Any worries that Brandon Jacobs may have lost his hunger after the Super Bowl championships may be put to bed. In the NFL’s opening game, Jacobs ran over Laron Landry. You can see the video at the end of the entry.

Landry isn’t a bad player — in fact, the second-year Washington Redskin is destined to be a very good player. However, sometimes it is best to just get out of the way when Jacobs is headed at you with a full head of steam.

In terms of fantasy football, there is reason to be excited if you own Jacobs. He’s in a solid offense and he’s the clear cut starter. As for the Redskins defense, their run defense didn’t look too good in Week 1.

Terrell Owens versus Pacman Jones – Video

When two of the better athletes in the NFL lineup across from each other, fireworks should be expected. That was definitely the case when Terrell Owens and Pacman Jones lined up across from each other. Check the end of the entry for video evidence.

While Pacman doesn’t look slow, T.O.’s double-move was a thing of beauty. Owens is understandably excited at the end of this video.

Chicago Bears Training Camp Video

Training camp for the Chicago Bears has kicked off and almost everyone seems to be happy. Not too long ago, happiness appeared to be a longshot. With most of their issues handled, the Bears can concentrate on trying to win NFL games.

What happened during the Bears busy offseason?

- Cedric Benson got arrested once. Cedric Benson got arrested again. Cedric Benson got released. The Bears drafted running back help. The Bears then signed running back help.

- Devin Hester held out but then got the contract he wanted.

- Brian Urlacher threatened to hold out but then got the contract he wanted.

While it was certainly a crazy offseason for the Bears, what if Brett Favre ends up with the Bears? The craziness would reach an all-time new high.
