Asus EEE PC in Colors!

Asus recently came out with a mini-laptop (better yet called a notebook!) model called EEE PC.
With the tag lines, “Easy to Learn, Work and Play, Excellent Internet Experience, Excellent On-the-Go”, this model is perfect for people who are always mobile and are always in need of a computer for emailing and writing documents. It’s also perfect for novice computer users (and even little kids!) since the it’s so easy to use and the software installed are very minimal!
They initially came out with only a white model, but now they’ve joined in the rainbow bandwagon and came out with new adorable colors in Pastel Pink, Pastel Yellow, Pastel Blue and Black!
Oh before you head off looking for this model, let me remind you that this machine is simply intended for surfing, chatting and emailing use since each model only comes with 8GB, 4GB and 2GB hard drives (hahaha!)

Wow, cute. Wonder how much the 8GB model costs? This is something I’d get for my technophobe mom to replace her stinking old laptop hahahaha.
I am actually considering getting one hehe. I am just not sure how much ‘work’ I could squeeze into that machine. I mean, I’d try to install a Linux distro and all the apps in less than 8GB and also carry around an external harddrive. It looks like a very compact notebook which isn’t too expensive (*cough* Vaio *cough*) though of course, one might argue that it’s not as powerful as *cough*other laptops. I’d love to give it a try. If I could have a test unit for a month, I’d be so happy. A pink test unit of course! Hehehe.
i think i might get the blue or green one. they are soo cute.. i need a nice, cute, little laptop that is affordable and easy to carry around.. i love these laptops. how much are they again. *(hint _ hint)*
