iPods As Interactive Tour Guides!

My boyfriend and I went to the Marlboro plant last Saturday for a tour. It was part of their annual TMX (The Marlboro Experience?!) event wherein they invite a number of people and treat them like VIPs!

We got treated out to lunch, POLICE ESCORTED to the state of the art manufacturing plant while being driven around in a black E150 (so this is how politicians feel, haha!), was toured around the plant and was invited to the most awesome M party!

I wouldn’t normally write about my personal experiences here in Gadgenista, but during the tour around the plant, we were each given an iPod to listen to while we were walking the around plant!

It was definitely a cool “gadget” experience! I’ve read about how DS Lites are used in museums in Japan as interactive tour guides and I’ve always wished that there was something like that here in the Philippines!
