2008 Stanley Cup Semifinals – Avalanche @ Red Wings Game 1

The Colorado Avalanche visited the Detroit Red Wings last night for game one of their 2008 Stanley Cup semifinals series.  I think this could be an interesting set of games but I do think the Wings are going to take it.  They dominated the first period, scoring three times, and held their lead through the end of the game.  Here’s the scoring summary:

COL: Stastny, P. (08:53 in 1st), Liles, J. (05:17 in 2nd), Hejduk, M. (16:29 in 2nd)

DET: Zetterberg, H. (09:46 in 1st), Cleary, D. (13:48 in 1st), Franzen, J. (PPG, 17:23 in 1st), Franzen, J. (01:13 in 2nd)
