2008 Stanley Cup Semifinals – Stars @ Sharks Game 1

The Dallas Stars made their way over the HP Pavillion for game one of the 2008 Stanley Cup semifinals against the San Jose Sharks.  It was quite an exciting (and close!) game as it was decided by an overtime goal scored by Stars left wing, Brendan Morrow.  Having just watch the Sharks in action as they eliminated the Calgary Flames, I can safely say that Stars goaltender, Marty Turco, is going to have to be spectacular between the because the Sharks are hungry (pun seriously intended, lol).  The Stars won in OT but it really was one of those games that could have gone either way.  Here’s the scoring summary:

DAL: Modano, M. (PPG, 06:06 in 2nd), Morrow, B. (09:09 in 2nd), Morrow, B. (04:39 in 1st OT)

SJS: Michalek, M. (04:50 in 2nd), Cheechoo, J. (16:58 in 3rd)
