2008 Stanley Cup Video: Sharks @ Flames – April 13, 2008

As a Calgary Flames fan, it was an emotional roller coaster of a game last night. I have to admit that, I’m not feeling good and we had guests, so I wasn’t thinking much at the beginning of the game but they really shouldn’t have started goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff last night. He had already been overused and abused in those back-to-back games earlier in the week (that last one saw him peppered with 43 shots on goal). When the San Jose Sharks scored goals in a row, I was relieved (and horrified) when Kipper was assigned to the bench and Curtis Joseph was brought out on to the ice. Why didn’t they do that earlier anyway? CUJO has mad playoff experience.
Anyway, so here we are, with the Flames down 3-0 and they pulled it together and overcame the deficit and ended up winning 4-3. Here are the highlights:
